  • 03:31 oh man i really miss Gogarty's, i want to come back to Dublin someday just to drink another pint of Guinness there!

  • No one says a neighborhood that is 100% black needs more diversity.

No one says a neighborhood that is 100% asian needs more diversity.

No one says a neighborhood that is 100% oriental needs more diversity.

    They are already 100% diverse.

All white neighborhoods and only white neighborhoods always need to be more diverse. White neighborhoods only stop needing to be more diverse when there are no more white people left.

Diversity is a codeword for white genocide.

  • Dublin has to be the most boring and morbid town in the world and people who live there just dont know life or there own self worth its like a prison because almost every bar and food store has arrogant polish security gaurds on them and everyone judges you for simple things like the way you dress act behave walk and talk its SICK get the fuck out and live your life . You cannot express your true self in Dublin because the culture is so extremely different to everywhere.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste You have no clue about dublin. its the most fun place in the world cause we are all nica and yes like every city on the planet it has its bad parts but we are freindly to all tourists even though alot of them are annoying.

were are you from and we will see if that is as good as dublin. you dont have a clue.

have you ever heard of temple bar.

  • @jd47jd you only think that dublin is good because its the only town you know. when in reality its the most boring depressing morbid judgementel kip on earth. and you just simply dont know life or your own self worth once you live in dublin because its extremely lifeless.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Listen you idiot.

You are the one who does not know what he is talking about.

Dublin is a great place and has great things to do and of course I know other towns in the world.

That is actually something I know very well.

Dublin is not depressing and another thing is that if you hate it and it depresses you then why are you commenting on a video of it.

  • @jd47jd Dont pay any attention to this bum Obamahalfcaste just look at his name he's a youtube troll he epitomises the word loser .The funny thing is he's never even been to Ireland the pathetic clown!

  • @Salphadon Nice one mate.

  • @jd47jd dont mind obamaishalfcast hes a black man living in ireland who is fat and goes on his internet all day never getting of his fat black arse all he does is he speaks hate on irish videos all the time while hes steals or tax money fuckin nigger! :l

  • Thank you for posting these beautiful images of Dublin! I'll never go in person, so I really enjoyed your tour of the town!

  • realy great city, very nice people, perfect place to live ... Dublin, Tomas, Kate Soze, and other, i realy miss you :((

  • Can you tell me something about the bronze man what is the history on him and what did he do and is he based on a real person?

  • Just wanted to clairfy my previous statement about Ireland . I have heard and read some comments about the people of Ireland being rude, insensitive, and etc. and I find this totally groundless. Not fair of people to cast aspersions on others without first meeting them. I found the people of Ireland to be warm, friendly, and accomodating. A place I would seriously consider moving to if a job required me too. Cannot wait to take go with my family again !!!

  • The song is called The Rocky Road to Dublin

  • 2222 86 a view ....

  • oh.

  • Who's singing?

  • molto bello

  • <3

  • Just wanted to say that when my family and I were over in Dublin in April 2006 we LOVED the country; especially the people. It is a shame that some people have to label others as subhuman and etc. I cannot wait until we return again to Ireland this time with the daughters.

  • Arrest DAVID DRUMM and send him back to IRELAND FOR TRIAL!

  • DAVID DRUMM DESTROYED THE IRISH ECONOMY AND YOU PEOPLE LET HIM GO SCOTT FREE IN MASSACHUSETTS?

  • David Drumm is living in Massachusetts free as a typical criminal bird! America...land of the free Banksters, Thieves, Liars and Bums!

  • OH DEAR GOD all you Americans stop saying you're all irish, french, german etc. just because your great great great grandad was Irish does not make you all Irish. For God's sake be grateful of your own country and stop trying to leech onto other countries just because you country has no culture (THIS IS NOT AIMED AT EVERY AMERICAN JUST AT THOSE WHO BRAG ON AND ON ABOUT THEM BEING IRISH, GERMAN OR FRENCH ETC JUST BECAUSE THERE GREAT GRANDAD WAS).

  • @TheDudeMcDude My mother was from Germany and my father's parents from Sicily...The German side raised me...is it so bad to feel a bit German?

  • @marinello6 What the hell, No. It's where ever you grew up since you say you grew up with Germany you're probably german then

  • @TheDudeMcDude I was born in the U.S. and was raised here by mostly Germans from Germany. I have never even been there and I speak a good deal of German, have German friends in Germany and relatives that I have lost contact with. They used to come to the U.S. long ago. I have no interest in seeing them unless they come here and make it easy. Besides, you grow out of most people in life. Focus on David Drumm...he is in the U.S. The Irish should have him arrested and sent back to EIRE.

  • @marinello6 Well if you grew up in america then your american and who is David Drumm?

  • @TheDudeMcDude He is the former Anglo Irish Bank Chief Executive and he is hiding out in Massachusetts...

Please see the Max Keiser report....number E104. Just put in Max Keiser E104...you are young but you should know about this anyway.

  • @marinello6 I didn't really understand what the hell was going on in that

  • @TheDudeMcDude

Give over will you. There are plenty of people in America with genuine Irish heritage and there is nothing wrong in letting people know. We should be happy that Americans are proud to claim their Irish heritage, not abuse them for it. It's unfriendly people like you who give this country a bad name

  • @TheDudeMcDude

Amen. That does my head in.

  • ona bozs! from a dub! ya took me back brill!

  • the o'connell street.. oh god seeing this brings me tears in my eyes. before i die i have to go to dublin again!

  • Was in Dublin as well in 2006. Very good pics, brings back memories! For all those asking who sings the song (it says at the end). It's the Irish Decendants from the province of Newfoundland, right here in Canada! It's an old Irish song called The Rocky Road To Dublin. And oh yeah, Australia will never be better than Ireland! Nowhere ever will be!

  • Apesar que eu moro no Brasil, quando eu passei pela Irlanda eu me apaixonei, pois Dublin é um lugar espetacular. valeu apena ir em Dublin

  • I love <3

  • i was almost the first romania refugee in dublin from oradea romania my name is maci from nufarul oradea.

  • I just got back from Dublin.

    It's sooo beautiful.

  • @DDD1968dd

Ah yeah sorry, what I meant to say was "there are some gaeltacht areas where people speak fluent Irish"

  • australia is better

  • What is the name of this song?

  • I will travel to Ireland in summer

  • I want to go tthere so badly it's my dream!

  • I am lithuanian now i live in Ireland , i was in Dublin two days ago, and i must say its very beautiful :) i like it very much, very gentle ppl there saying hello to you and how are you ,very warm ppl :)

  • Man 25% speaks polish??? LOL u have to read the report from 2006!!! We have only 200.000 pols living in Ireland, and the whole country has 4 mil people....think! Onother idiot making up stories...and now 2010 polish popiulation droped to 100.000!!!!

  • he meant 25% speak polish OR another european language. theres been no decline in immigration from other east european countries, you see. as well as that, many poles went back to poland before ultimately returning to ireland.

  • ireland baby!!

  • Everyone speaks English, 25% speak polish or other east european lingo. Irish is spoken by 4% of the population there are other variations spoken as well, Ulster scots and in Waterford olic was spoken and the travelers have they Gaili, which is the oldest of all dialics.

  • They speak all English in Ireland right?.

  • @columbusdinner

Most people do. Some people in the Gaeltacht areas are fluent Irish. Very few even know Irish hah!

  • who are the singers to this song???

  • Comment removed

  • A lot of people are thinking it might be best if we rejoin the U.K. thats if they will have us back.

Our great tiger has a sore leg, our great Irish unproductive Government workers are spending the money that pays there wages in the U.K. I don`t blaim them i do it myself. But realy who running the country only a shower of bog hoppers, who are so corrupt that flies keep away from them. Look at Obama, ask him about Ireland and stright away you see that large smile which says it all.

  • @TheLongfords Nobody is talking about that.

  • What are u on about rejoining the UK...we never joined the UK in the first place we had no choice. Irish are the most patriotic people in the world, more so than even Americans so don't so.

  • no there is a tiny minority of people who would like to rejoin the UK on economic grounds, and although im not one of them because i dont think it would help our economy at all, i say fair play to them anyway for having their priorities in place.

  • @corsellus WHAT planet are you from????

  • u really are a spa my second comment i find u giving out about your own country if ur so annoyed wit the place go to the u.k cause i doubt u wud be missed u sound like the most depressed fuck in the world and we never joined the u.k???

  • Ahhhh, The true motherland......

  • That was great - thanks for showing - although I'm not all that sure I like the song!!

  • Oh im soo Proud of Dublin

I didnt realise it was so nice!

  • Brilliant city..night life is better than anywere else in the world...been twice now and cant wait to get back again...the people are the friendliest you could meet.

  • english scum.

  • Where not English where Irish

And where not scum you are!

  • @jaffa545 have you ever been to england?cos if you do go dont go around calling people scum or you will get tango'd jaffa!

  • this is a very nice song

  • First, Ireland should be a part of the UK. Pugnacious traitors! And to all you faux Eire lovers: Scotland is wealthier, smarter, and has better castles & tradition.

  • Why exactly should Ireland be part of the UK?

  • ur full of crap mate .. the uk should of stayed on there own turf ,,

they wont make the mistake of trying to take ireland again ,, dumb fker

  • So, why are you on here looking at a video about Dublin then jims08ca?

Dumb cunt. Fuck off away from the page!

  • Ireland should not be part of the UK. Why? The British are assholes and we are cool. There is the difference between us for you. English people are fancy twats who think they are all that. Us Irish are laid back drinkers. You can kiss my Irish ass. Because Ireland should not be part of the UK. Thank you for preaching bull shit on the internet.

  • the reason I'm interested is because I love Ireland, so I'm planning to get a working visa to go and be there ,but my biggest concern is finding a job. I live in Toronto, and its hard finding a job here.

  • @beatricea1982 What would you like to do in Ireland, work wise?

  • I'm a finance graduate so I want to work in the banking and the administrative sector.

  • Ohh....but the time to rob banks from the inside is over now! (Joking)

Well, I would imagine if Canada is doing well, and you find it difficult to get a job, I would say Ireland would be 10 times harder because Ireland is reeling now.

  • If robing a bank was simple and easy job, I would have done it already but the time is over now as you said hahaha. I actually heard that Ireland was the hardest hit country in Europe from the economic downturn. because during the ninties Ireland experienced a big boost in its economy.

  • i have the hotts for one irish gal that lives in dublin on rathdown road.

  • bonita canción - good song

  • I heard many times that Ireland was the most affected country in Europe from the economic downturn in the last couple years. I want to know how did it effect the everyday life of the people?

  • Haven't noticed any difference in everyday life.

  • My ma lost her bissuness and is on singal parent allowence and im 18 and now on the dole Cant get a job anywhere. and now floods all over ireland is costing the country millions. So were fucked haha

  • Great pictures! It brings me lots of memory from the time I lived in Ireland. I was there in 1997-1999. Great times at Temple Bar.

Does any one has a video of Howth, just outside Dublin in the north side? Please let me know if you find one!

    Thanks

  • What's the name of this song?

  • wellington monument look like washington monument!did anyone notice that?

  • Nice capital city !

  • you should see Dublin now =P haa ! i love Dublin (:

  • Wish i could go home! Love it here and In wanna stay here.

  • Apparently Dublin has beautiful Georgian architecture and attracts large numbers of foreign students to its language schools which is ironic as the Irish seldom appreciate the legacy of British rule.

  • That true Dublin does have beautiful Georgian architecture. That however does not give us any reason to appreciate past British rule. If I started why we should resent past British rule I can tell you it overshadows the positive. Its anything but ironic! I myself have no appreciation for past British rule or do I resent any British people. Ive many British friends but I am just saying your comment is annoying!

  • My comment referred only to the useful legacy of British rule within the specific context of Dublin's attractiveness as a modern tourist city as shown in the video. In the wider all Ireland context the effect of the lengthy occupation

  • was the cause of social divisions which carry on today. ( I don't think anyone would disagree with you on that one.)

  • i just did 2 months in europe and dublin is the cleanest city i have ever seen in my life.. beautiful place...surrounded by the huge foothills, very nice people, and considerate

  • I am Irish and now trying to get back.....please help me get the F out of here(US). Been there twice and I love it. Th is is my homeland and I wish I could move back. I am a McGee of Thurles if that matters to anyone.

  • IRISH PEOPLE PAY THE COST

The state is spending more than 91.5million euro a year to accommodate 7000 asylum seekers, due to 7yr backlog. There are 14,131 'leave to remain' applicants whom the Justice Dept. describes as having 'unfounded' claims for asylum.

    source: Irish Examiner 23/7/09

Meanwhile our health, education systems are breaking down and Irish people are being told to emigrate.....goodbye Ireland, goodbye the celts.

  • god being from Ireland that music makes me want to pull my ears off. how many variations on the same bullshit can you muster like.

  • very nice video

  • i like ireland.irish girls,music and people.needless to talk about the weather :))

  • hate Irish weather, although all last week we got sun :) and in February we got snow :) but apart from that, summers are rainy and cause floods, winters are dull with short days and to top it off, everything is expensive and our economy is dead! Great place to visit as a tourist though.

  • i notice you didnt wander down Sherriff street or the rambling hills of Finglas.. or the beautiful ballymun....

  • lol he stayed on the southside and a little bit on the northside.

  • this song is amazing, video too!! gr8

  • what is the name of this song?

  • i live in Ireland, its no all that good. Weather is bad :P

  • things are too expensive, weather is bad, government is bad, so many things...

  • Hey people i gotta know the name of the band and name of this song...sounds pretty good

  • Isn't Ireland Just beautiful!!!!!!

  • can someone tell me how much they think that a ticket would cost if i took a plan from pennsylvania u.s to ireland

  • Pity Dublin is being invaded by welfare tourists (so called Nigerian asylum seekers allegedly 'fleaing' for their lives - all the way across the rest of Europe to the only country stupid enough to fill their grubby paws with cash) - The way the economy is going we won't have a tosser to pay our own after these spongers!

  • agree

  • I'm portuguese but my true passion is Ireland, such a beautiful country

I wish I was from Dublin

  • Class video. I'm from donegal but moved to Dublin when I was 12 after living in Munich, I really like it, pity about the feckin recession.

  • I lived in Dublin back 96 and it was an experience I'll never forget :) Enjoy life an be happy !

  • Get over "your" hatred? read your own E-mail and get over YOUR hatred. both Ireland and the UK are part of the EU anyway national boarders don't mean that much anymore.

  • Im glad you enjoyed dublin i was in berlin recently what a great city so much to see and amazing buildings really loved your country!

  • I'm off to Dublin on holiday next month - never been to Ireland before. Can't wait!

  • It was there, in the catacombs beneath Dublin, that I encountered the monster again. My only warning was the stench -Then I saw it: Bazlb'uq the Befouler, Daemon Prince of sickness and rot.

"Ah, 69Bluntsmoka420, it's been a while. Venice, wasn't it?" Its ugly little yellow eyes gleamed with amusement. "I assume you're here for St. Alexandra's Chalice? I'm afraid I can't let you have it, you pallid little worm. Hu hu hu..."

I racked the slide of my pistol. This wasn't going to be easy.

  • im going to be moving to ireland in a few years im so glad to be irish

  • no interesting buildings?
