I played DAoC, so hopefully this game will live up to old expectations. From the site i gather some classes are Male or Female gender only. If this is the case it could be one of the downsides to the game. I wouldn't really enjoy playing a female class just because I enjoy the skills and abilities of that particular class. I'm just stoked this game isn't cartoon like and kiddy like WoW. Rock on Mythic

The character models and animations are an utter failure. Everything else about the game is great. It's too bad, what a waste. They couldn't hire someone with talent to make the characters? What a waste of a good game.

wow...are you kidding me? the game is very nice gameplaywise and such. mythic made this game more of a classic MMO scene mixed with RVR (from DAOC) and other stuff. you don't just have to grind in the game to lvl, but you can do scenarios (WOW version of battlegrounds, but only take 15 minutes to do) and fortress sieges. Who cares about graphics and such, look at WOW, at the beginning, the graphics were pretty good, and they updated it. Mythic is gonna do the same after launch. kthnxbai

Oh yes and the character models on all those other MMOs are far superior. Let's just take WoW in consideration just because well, 99% of the ppl who will bash WAR play WoW.

Human - Look like apes, actually ape would be cool, they are a sub genre.

Orc - They are basically a bigger/uglier version of a Human, just green.

Only g iving 2 exampled but believe me I could go on, with more detail, but you get my point.

WAR char models are very accurate and are a hell of a lot more realistic.
