Its always easy to Monday Morning QB America should've been neutral in this war and let two American Enemy's battle it out

@FRSFreeState This country tends to get a little uneasy when the free flow of oil might be interrupted. The United States was technically neutral and had the stated mission of keeping the shipping lanes open for the oil tankers. Iran was basically attacking oil tankers as part of their overall campaign to hurt Iraq's interests and at that time we were friendly with Iraq and not Iran. Ironically it was reported that Saddam paid a pilot a large bonus after shooting the Stark with an Exorcet.

This was a War where Both Sides Lost & Saddam Hussein Proved how Evil of a man he was.
