  • What??? Rajhans (22006 WAP-1) at Tatanagar!!! Amazing.... Really rare capture....

  • @Arkchat921 Indeed, it was a rare capture!

  • Oh! Man! An approach to Tatanagar at last!!!! Real nostalgia of my native:)) Awesome awesome video dude. You rock!

  • @grisham16 Thanks! Are you from Tatanagar? I have some relatives who have been in Adityapur for the past 40 years!! My dad grew-up in Jamshedpur as well.

  • @vb642: Yeah! I am from Tatanagar but have been in south since 1986. But I do visit my native for a long holiday once every year! That';s how my fondness for Indian Railways grew, due to the long train journeys from a very young age:)

  • Nice avg 93-94kmph

  • @TheIndianRailways Yes, quite impressive!

  • Very nice capture

  • @arzan1980 Thanks!

  • The approach to TATA seems great-enjoyed every bit of it and yet another small Duronto clip from my side.

  • @axisarindam Thanks! I have seen your doorplating video before but enjoyed seeing it again :-)

  • @rainbow30000 Thanks :-)

  • great video..first time I am seeing TATA..the last time (and only time) I was travelling in HWH-NGP route in Azad Hind..TATA came both at night :)

  • @andy25biotech Thanks, Anindya! I have very fond memories of the HWH-TATA section. Back in the 70s, I had traveled a few times between HWH and TATA in Steel/Ispat. At that time, they had a unique livery - blue-yellow-grey. Also, my first Gitanjali trip in 1980 was from HWH to TATA. When did you travel in Azad Hind?

  • @vb642 I faintly remember that I have seen a particular livery of coaches during early 90's with Gitanjali..but not sure what was the exact livery..was there any particular livery for Gitanjali? I went to Pune on 1st January 2005 in Azad Hind..and guess what a brown liveried BSL WAM-4 was doing the honours..at that time I had no knowledge about loco and IRFCA..I thought that must be some freight loco as per the maroon livery..I was upset after not getting a WAP-4..but what a run it was.awsome!

  • @andy25biotech In the beginning, both Gitanjali and Coromandel had a brilliant yellow-and-red livery. In the late 80s, I saw Gitanjali with the regular maroon coaches but with a cream band across the windows. Brown-liveried WAM4, hmm...BSL shed, perhaps?

  • @vb642 I see..actually I think only one or two coaches had that particular livery when I have seen Gitanjali. perhaps there was a border i think just below the windows..otherwise I might be wrong :-/ and yes the WAM-4 was from BSL..it did a fabulous job :)

  • very nice.....

  • @djsayantanb Thanks, and HAPPY DIWALI!

  • very nice-Duronto rocks-Ihope u'll like my little video response.

  • @axisarindam Looking forward to the video....

  • Good one. Are you speaking kannada or tamil? By the way, you keep saying "beautiful" and the track bed is filthy???

  • @radbcc Tamil. The last thing a railfan looks at is the track bed ... who cares!!! What is beautiful is the yard and the general railway atmosphere.
