I like the way you put that... about not LOOKING at someones color, nationality, height, weight, etc. We always SEE those differences, but for me, the trick has been to always give people credit for being human beings, until or unless they prove otherwise. Even then, I like to remember that we all play the fool sometime, and we may just be seeing someones bigoted behaviors when it's their day to play the fool... So I always try to give "bad" people second chances too.

THAT is an interesting concept. That someone could "LOOK LIKE" a racist. I think you've danced all around the way I hear it used among my black friends without nailing it though. Here are a few quotes: "Hey, it's ok, you still MY nigger" OR "Where my nigger went?"
