  • Syd Barrett remains one of the intriguing characters in all rock and roll. What I've found is that his music and personality touch people deeply. I know how much he has affected me.

Too bad this book is priced WAY OUTSIDE the price range of many of his fans. I understand they wanted to create a quality item, but $300.00? C'mon!

  • I want to buy this book but it's so expensive. TT__________TT

  • I don't appreciate the lack of originality with most music these days. Perhaps everything has been done. I might be so detached from the rest of music culture, that I just don't know where to look. My brother was very much like Syd; thoughtful. artful and loved playing music. He passed away. I will always enjoy the first two Pink Floyd albums compared to anything they did after that. It was Mr. Barrett's influence that I enjoyed so much.

  • @flagwaver1969 you might enjoy throbbing gristle or coil if its originality youre after.

  • thanks for the video ps see beingahuman dot blogspot dot com for the truth on syd barrett

  • Syd the greatest the start of something great ,,that was to become the greatest band ever

  • I named my son Sydney 12 yrs ago.

    R.I.P. Syd!

  • @draughnd But "Sydney" wasn't his name. It was Roger Kieth Barrett. His nickname was Syd (or sometimes "Syd the Beat").

  • @ThePaintedOddity82 ~Yes, I am aware of this! But most fans knew him as Syd Barrett!

  • syd

  • Syd played a very large roll in making hard rock music what it is today. Few realize this, and Syd gets little credit ,but he was indeed a true visionary. An artist. "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" is the only Pink Floyd L.P. that I have ever owned. His solo works are very interesting also. R.I.P, Syd. Wish you were still here !

  • Syd was the start of something great

  • Barrett was a trippy dude. I'm sure then book is excellent.

  • Great job. Looking forward to the book.

  • To see the book will be the reward of times. looking very foward to it.
