It's a law that's only in Quebec.

You do not have the legal right t record or photograph anyone without their legal permission, and aren't allowed atall if the cops are involved, unless you are specificlly told otherwise (to protect confidentiallity of whoeer is being involved ith the cops you are filmfing)

The only acceptions are for a protograph of a random crowd, such as a protest, where it would be quite near impossible to get the written permission from each individual.

Quoi je trouve comique dans cette vidéo c'est l'homme qui se lêve et il regarde tout-de-suite à la caméra, comme s'il savait déjà que tu filmais. C'est une peut aléatoire! Des fois je me suis fait attrappé à filmer des choses que je n'avait pas le droit, ou c'était innapproprié!

Malheureusement, il y a certains policiers qui ont tout avantage à comprendre cela. Le plus surprenant dans le cas présent, c'est que cette vidéo fait honneur aux policiers, car ils viennent de contribuer à sauver la vie de quelqu'un! Entre nous, les gens ne sont pas dupes et savent très bien que la plupart des policiers font un excellent travail.
