@YangFoBS Indeed you can, I used to build my own gaming rigs, the main thing is though that you get a 3 year warranty on-site parts replacement if there's any hardware issues, when spending serious money on a gaming rig - for me - the warranty backup on potentially faulty hardware was the deal clincher. But yes, you could build a high performance machine yourelf for much less than an OEM retail system.
