Most of their music was quite excellent. I’ve never understood the “fake” complaint about them. Remove the TV show and they were like many 60s bands. Even the Byrds didn’t play on their first single. It was studio pros with McGuinn on guitar and lead vocal with Clark and Crosby on backing. Thats pretty much how early Monkees songs were created but remember that they are the first group ever in the history of rock to gain musical independence by fighting for their rights to play on their songs.

hahahaha Davy has to climb up the fence to reach ppl! i luv it! and omg Micky probably couldn't feel his hand for a while after tht =] I swear soon as a time machine is invented, first place im going is back to the 60s!!!!!
@LitmusPaperSnafu Peter Tork said in an interview a few years ago that he went to Phoenix(i do believe thats where he said) and met a girl who claimed to be his Biological daughter... it was proven false by a test. he calls her his Ex daughter, he also mentioned her on the Stranger dave show.

"The Monkees on Tour" is the last episode of the first season of the show, and the entire first and second seasons are on DVD, you can find them on ebay, amazon, or on rhino records website. They are very pricey however, as I bought both seasons of the show for a combined price of $109.
