  • hey, i was just wondering how do you display them?

also how much was it to send in those 20 cards?

Does PSA grade jersey cards? Because i have a cool David Carr jersey card 4/5

and a Marc Bulger auto jersey 10/15

    thanks

  • @FoNz24x7x365 :

Hey there, I display about 50 cards at a time. If you watch a couple of my other vids, you'll notice behind me on the wall a display case that I had a guy on my street construct for me that holds 50 PSA cards at once. So I can usally display a decade at a time or so.

As far as price for 20 cards, it depends on when they're sent in and/or what special PSA is having. Can be $200 for 20 or $100 for 20. Just depends. And yes, they do grade Jersey Cards, but in a bigger holder.

  • @Packerscorner Thanx man, ive seen your other vids and they really help.

so if i do a 10 card for $100 bulk they should take any jersey cards?

  • Possibly No!! If the jersey card is a thick card then you can't send them in with the others normal sized cards. Most jersey cards or thicker cards neet to be encapsulated in a different, thick, or larger holder and can not be sent in with a normal size group. They must be sent in separately. I would wait till you get 10 cards that are either thicker ones or jersey (jersey-auto) cards, and send in a group of them to be graded for the $10 grade....or their monthly specials.

  • If the jersey card is a pretty thin card, you can give it a try. I do have a couple jersey cards encapsulated by PSA that didn't require a larger case. I would search Ebay....JERSEY PSA....and see what type of cards are encapsulated and maybe give you an idea if you jersey card(s) are too large to be sent in with your normal card group!

  • bro do you know how much the BACK of a card has to do with an overall grade? I will be sending in a Press Pass 1998 Randy Moss autographed rookie and the front looks flawless, but on the back, the left edge has some "baby white" on it that could barely be seen. Any idea on how that might effect my grade? thanks

  • @BenMoss85 : Hey there...In PSA's SMR Magazine, they list what the grading standards are...and they actually mention the back of the card on each level. Mostly they talk about the centering of it. I believe the back goes through the same grading atributes as the front does: Edges, corners, surface, & centering.

On your card- without seeing it- I would guess it would grade a PSA 8 or 9....unless it's REALLY bad.

  • @Packerscorner Ok thanks man! And I really appreciate your videos and insight. I have only ever gotten one card graded in the past and seeing as you obviously send in hundreds then your the perfect person to ask lol. Later!

  • @BenMoss85 :I don't quite send in hundreds (usually 14-20 at a time).

Being a teacher, I don't have that kind of cash. I've just got one person's perspective on grading and collecting (me) and thought I'd share what I've learned with others. Some guys don't think my ideas are that great...I wanted to just help out the normal collector who wants a good collection that can be enjoyed.

Anytime you've got a question about grading, I'll definitely try and help.

    Have a great weekend!!

  • nice mail day for you, get some rest from work!
