  • Funk is it better for fat burning to do the spartacus workout in the morning with an empty stomach? Do u believe in doing cardio in the morning for immediate fat burn?

  • @djtimog4 I am all about having something in your stomach before doing a Spartacus Workout. If you try it on an empty stomach, you will not have teh energy to effectively get a quality workout. Workout protocol are more than enough to allow you to continue to burn fat 24-36 hours after you workout do to the EPOC effect. This not your regular, boring, slow 45-60 minutes of cardio.   • Hey funk i need sum help, im 13 yrs old and i do the matrix workout (back,chest,legs,biceps,back) if uve heard of it, i do alot of biceps workouts, alot of shuffling and i have a personal trainer also i do a 1 minute hover a day, and no i dont do alot of sports other than parkour, i do lift a fair bit, is this too much too soon? i mean its not like im huge yet and i have a rolly thing on floor i do 20 reps of those every 2 days, hurts like a b**ch lol. pls respond man.

  • I have a hard time doing pullups. Is it still beneficial to "assist" your pull up with a step of sorts? I'm still working hard but it enables me to at least do them, otherwise I just can't pull myself up.

  • @upkerry14 I used to not be able to do pull ups but now I can do pull up. Trying to doing inverted rows. They will build back muscles so pull ups are much much easier. Or just do negatives on pull ups

  • @DarkMan649 Dude, I am not sure why people take pills, but YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE PILLS....First you are 16 and too young to be destroying your body with synthetic pills. Second...Nutrition and Exercise is the key to success...Ensure you are eating protein source with each meal...No JUNK FOOD...Multivitamins are great, but at 16yrs old ,that's all you need - Funk

OR use this workout as a quick and highly effective Conditioning Workout on your "Cardio" days - More effective then being in the gym on a treadmill, bike or elliptical for 45 boring min - Funk

I used to be 206lbs of Male PMS (Puffy Muscle Syndrome) and decided to change to my Spartacus style workouts, kettlebells, plyometrics, MMA workouts and Muay Thai. I am 43yrs old, played professional beach volleyball at the highest level for 15 yrs and NOW, I am in the best shape (always ripped) of my life BARNONE - Funk

  • @marcroops That's fantastic. I can tell your in great shape, you don't look a day over 30 dude. I train in sport karate and have done a little thai boxing before. Just recently though, ive been putting a lot of work in the gym on weights, which has given me a bit of size and tone, but it hasn't helped my sport much at all. So im gonna give your workouts a try and get myself in real shape. Thanks for the vids Funk and keep up the good work!

  • @1steveiam With this workout you can use it a few ways. It can be used as a Finisher for after you main training session, just to finish you off. You can use this as a quick workout using sets. Be creative!

    Not to sound like an ass, but try to avoid having a gap between getting up from pushup position to jumping up for the bar. I know it's nigh-impossible after 5 rounds, but well worth the effort.
