At my last job I worked with two african americans, and I promise you I never viewed them as black professionals. I veiwed them as colegues who were very knowlegable. They both had computer science degrees, and were not looked down uppon. They were not given anything based on the color of their skin.

It does sadden me that if a black person/child seeks an education they seem to be called an oreo. That is not good! The facial Symmetry beauty idea has been around since the Renaissance due to painters of the time. It would not be till the 20th century when they would show that humanity prefers similarities over randomness. Now societies influence on beauty is the "nurture" side of the argument. Which constantly changes. Ex: Marlyn Monroe would be considered fat today.

They did a study back in the 70's with black young girls and they gave them the choice of a white doll or a black doll, and they would choose the white one. But this may be more due to 500 years of oppression affecting one own believe in self esteem.

This is the major difference between the protests in Wisconsin and the Tea Party protests. They called people out on their signs equating Walker to Hitler; they told people to stay away from messages that weren't on target. They explained why such things would be detrimental to their cause. People need to understand that there's a difference between free speech and hate speech. Our constitution may allow for free speech, but there are many laws in place that restrict speech.

At my last job I worked with two african americans, and I promise you I never viewed them as black professionals. I veiwed them as colegues who were very knowlegable. They both had computer science degrees, and were not looked down uppon. They were not given anything based on the color of their skin.

The facial Symmetry beauty idea has been around since the Renaissance due to painters of the time. It would not be till the 20th century when they would show that humanity prefers similarities over randomness. Now societies influence on beauty is the "nurture" side of the argument. They did a study back in the 70's with black young girls and they gave them the choice of a white doll or a black doll, and they would choose the white one. But this may be more due to 500 years of oppression affecting one own believe in self esteem.

Think about my comments on "innate" ideas and tell me why that at least 70% of Americans believe that blacks are "prone" to violence, and tell me this has no effect on the collective mindset of millions of black Americans who cant assimilate not because of their unwillingness but because no one is willing to assimilate them into the mainstream.

It is a shame that there are communities in the US where the community becomes stuck in a vicious circle, but it takes community leaders to change this. These communities are not isolated to black people, these communities swallow every race and culture. The grip is strong, but one has to remember there is always hope.

This is the major difference between the protests in Wisconsin and the Tea Party protests. They called people out on their signs equating Walker to Hitler; they told people to stay away from messages that weren't on target. They explained why such things would be detrimental to their cause. People need to understand that there's a difference between free speech and hate speech. Our constitution may allow for free speech, but there are many laws in place that restrict speech.

Just because you're holding a sign that says Obongo Go Back to Kenya, or holding a monkey puppet doesn't make you a racist. It just means that you are capable of using race based humor in making a point at a protest. The President is after all a mulatto. The fact that he's mulatto is one of the reason's why he's president because he sure didn't get their by his merits. But card carrying members of the KKK or white supremists...that's a stretch.

And it is very uncivilized and disrespectful and because you're supporting it and using the term "Mulatto" which most mixed people reject cause its association with slavery and colonial and racial oppression. I have no choice but to suspect you're a racist yourself. You could of used any other words like mixed", "biracial", "mixed-race", and "multiracial". Infact most mixed people prefer those terms.

The Obamans avoid talk on why BO tells not the truth. He added 500,000 census workers to his stimulus recovery. Which was pure con job. But did not subtract them when their contract expired. Most scary the Obamans want to pass laws without a roll call vote, plus use the majority to break the opposition, end discussion and summarily vote on anything that bubbles into their brains. We are so lucky. The Obamans almost passed amnesty. But lost their 60 votes the day that Teddy died.

Racism is nothing to fear it does not carry the power it once had anymore, Martin Luther King prophesied it when he said "I had a dream that white and black will hold hand together and its also mean that they would marry and love each other have children together. There is no longer white power, the power has been disbursed/shared among all races and there is nothing one can do about it because an almighty God is in control and running things.
