$18M is not really that much money in NYC. Go up to Park or 5th and see now much one of the huge pre-war Coops will set you back - you can bet on spending $28-$35M. The Penthouse at the Carlyle is currently on the market for $60M, and you can pay even more for a grand townhouse on the Upper East Side.

There are LOTS of rich people in NYC who happily pay $18M for apartments.

Very, very well done. To the gentleman that thinks that New York Realtors have completely lost their minds!! 18 million dollars!!! This, obviously is not for the average man or woman looking for a condo but for the discerning individual with copious means this fits the bill nicely.
