That's just the granite counter top. Notice he turns the sensor towards the counter when he gets to that glass thing. It even reads the radiation from the granite when it's away from the glass and turned upwards.
Natural alcohol gets its carbon from plants. The plants get carbon from atmospheric carbon dioxide that has a small amount of radioactive carbon 14 caused by the continued bombardment of cosmic rays from space. The amount, one carbon 14 atom in about a trillion, can be detected by instruments.
@TheJeremiah948 lot of things are radioactive nataral alcohol is mildly radioactive but people dont mind drinking it....infact in the usa its illegal to sell alcohol that is not radioactive
People used to place uranium in thing before they knew the potential health disaster it could give them, the green glod just added to appeal, such as how in the past people would lather on lotion to make them appear more pale (Which would be a sign of wealth) little did they know, lead was a big ingredient in most of them, which would then cause their face's to decay.. Awesome. But RE:Radioactive glass, most of it has too little uranium to cause significant health problems.
@TheAspiringOne People haven't changed. Sun tanning is just as harmful as skin lightening. Your skin tans because of damage to the pigment, very harmful to your health.
