  • have you ever had to replace the spring?

  • The auto is super fast and has supurb lock up and great knife for the money !

  • I got the black tactical with dagger blade and love it !! great history behind it to.

  • Which color do you perfer? im looking at buying these

  • the one with the magnum name is discontinued and hard to find

  • I just picked up the Boker automatic AK blade and for the price, they are hard to beat.

  • @flamebreaker13 are you selling that? I'll pay shitloads for one of that :) pls? :)

  • Hahahaha! Made in KOREA!!!! the shittiest quality of the steel in the world.

  • give me? :D

  • where do you get the springs they sell these in UK but the button is just a lock not an auto same knife though

  • where do you get the springs they sell these in UK but the button is just a lock not an auto same knife though

  • Hey what state do you live in that allows automatic knives?

  • is there a way to improve the spring in the auto? i have one and it sucks. doesnt quite snap like yours do.

  • do u need to buy the spring extra to make it a switch blade.

  • @goodlookin41

you can do that I guess, but every one I've bought was already an auto

  • @GearBuyersGuide i bought one in an army surplus store, and it was already automatic. But i guess it's because automatics are completely legal in Kentucky....

  • is this a switch blade?

  • @goodlookin41

    yes, some are

  • @flamebreaker13

quite illegal in many places, might want to check on that, FWIW

  • @flamebreaker13 its illegal in all of the us lol.. just keep it on the hush hush

  • @flamebreaker13 i have no clue what your talking about.... shhhhhh

  • too bad utah has up tight knife laws let alone weapon laws I wish I could get one from a local store but I cant

  • @IpwnNoobs4TW You can get any of these at bladeops.com

  • Ok, i'll be totally honest here and announce that i'm really damn confused. Is it pronounced bow-ee or bouee?

  • The worse thing about having a nice knife that's made in Taiwan is nothing to do with quality, it's the part where they have to write "MADE IN TAIWAN" somewhere on the blade. I don't like anything written on the blade. I have a nice Ka-Bar Bowie with this problem. I have the same problem with brand fashioned clothes.

  • @Dave54600

I argee with you there. The product name stuff should be free since you are walking around being their billboard

  • @Pathfinder7298

Why would you swear in your first communication with another person?

  • @GearBuyersGuide Thats interesting i really don't know ... :D

  • @Pathfinder7298 yeah? swearing is not cool dude, just makes you look like a jerk.

  • @Pathfinder7298 Many people collect knives.

  • @IEatGuns

I do :D so many different makers, so many materials, mechanisms, grinds, shapes, uses, smells ( really, that too. Get an old military knife and you'll see.) history and histories (both), funny things in general which you had no clue about, like that secret compartment on your grandfather's casual knife and so on.

  • They need to keep dat shit in Germany and America!

    Keep that shit Quality yo!

  • i was going to get one of these but i decided to get the smith and wesson

  • if I want to buy a spring for one of these knives what would the spring be called

  • All Böker Plus knives are made overseas. ;)

You would have to buy an original Knife by Böker with tree symbol. Only these are still made in Germany. There is also Arbolito which are made in Buenos Aires and Magnum which are China made or wherever.

  • I've carried benchmades, kershaws, and spydercos and for the price this is a great knife the one i have I've carried for about 3yrs and the only prob i had was the spring finally broke about 2 weeks ago and it still worked and i can still use it. a replacement spring is only 4 dollars The other knives i have had have broke and fallen apart yes they are warranted but that does me no good if i need it now. For $40 bucks its a great knife. tough and reliable like an AK.

  • why not just carry the bayonet?

  • Good looking knives. Too bad they are made in Taiwan...

I have a Gerber Air Ranger that is made in Taiwan and

while a good knife, it just doesn't seem to want to hold

    an edge anymore.

Does the Boker have an blade wobble?

  • @KRN762

At first they are fine, but after a while of heavy use they do wobble

Good for a medium usse knife IMO

  • Hey why don't you duracoat the sand colored one coyote brown?

  • @CutleryNovice

I have never painted a knife

  • I never see these around-- only the reproductions that are so-so quality.

I might try my luck at an assisted opener replica... $10 gamble might pan out.

PS - Great collection, btw! ;)

  • @gearbuyersguide

Can i buy on of your autos?

  • dude, you pronounce kalashnikov wrong :PP

  • @metaldo0d

    Really?

Sorry pronunciation police.. but I am not russian, and this isn't a video on how to pronounce anything, so ...

  • @GearBuyersGuide ehh pay no mind.. a word is a word... you only pronounce it wrong because you dont know the language. or how to speak it with the accent. so. it doesnt matter Kalashnikov wouldnt care either. lol

  • @GearBuyersGuide hahaha! pronunciation police thats funny

  • what is the large liner lock knife called

  • The box is *not* a selling point for a knife.

  • @ yadeyrinii

Maybe in your opinion, but for a collector, or just people with other opinions than you the box might be more relevant than you think

  • Awesome knives...steel boxes would have been cool.

  • @ HELLZZARMY

Now that we can all agree on !! Good point

  • @HELLZZARMY And put a spring in it and use it as an AK74 magazine.

  • I put every box from knives I buy on the wall in my den, and I bought a spyderco caly 3 mostly because I wanted the box it came in. Great knife, but I traded it for something else I wanted and kept the box. To each their own.

  • lol, just cos its made in taiwan doesnt mean its a low quality knife, its only made in taiwan as it's cheaper to manufacture, if the quality control is good, then it doesn't matter where its made.

  • I agree. Sometimes I think my country gets a bad rep because of all the little nic-nacs and junk street vendors sell. We do however make very good quality products as well, just like any other country. So please don't automatically assume that anything made in Taiwan is a piece of garbage. Thnx...

  • Good points, thanks

I'll quit talking smack about the whole county based on cheap stuff from years ago

  • the quality of items has much to do with the steal and the alloys, i dont dispute the quality of assembly but the natural resources of the mining do not lend themselves to quality. much of the metals are imported and are recycled in tiwan foundries therefore the quality of metal and alloys is diminished.

  • OK thanks for the feedback, I guess that's fair..

I am basing that on the junk I grew up with, and I should give an entire country a break from that assumption after 20 years have passed

the Taiwan made Boker I used for years held up just fine to whatever I used it for

  • @VengeanceIV Nutnfancy fan much?

  • good vid....good to know
