It's really nice to be able to see back 100 years. If you go back far enough, you hit a wall, where all music is just written down and you can play it, but not like a master at the time might have, and if it was sung, you'll never really know what it sounded like.
Agreed on both comments. Love Jimi - transcendent! But these weren't 'chosen' per se, but based instead on Top 40 pop/rock lists. Looots of folks I would include if just personal preference. ;) Thx for the comment
Wow man, seriously, your video should be picked up by the history channel or something. The music and the images are flat out amazing, even the ending is freaking perfect. Great job!
Where are Michael Jackson's?
- Thriller
- Smooth Criminal
- Bad
- Black or White
- Scream
- Earth Song
They by miles overshadow many of the songs in the same year as them that were put here....

Wow, it was really neat watching all the way through 100 years and seeing how the different genres evolved.

Pink Floyd impacted more in 1973 with Dark Side of the Moon, than in 1979 with The Wall. The images are very beautiful.

Yeah, 100 years was a huge scope, fig'd I better at least try and confine it to the U.S. I suppose a lot of it was universal though.
