I love how people call other peoples quads pieces of shit over the internet and don't know anything about them. I actually sold that 400. Anyone can ride them. Very meak power for the most part. I don't care WHAT the fuck you have on your 400ex, it won't touch a piped banshee. 450's are on par, but not 400ex's. You need mods up the ass just to keep up with a piped shee/450.

Go take your sissy ass 400ex and choke. It's a good quad, but not on par w/ today.

Had the dmc alien on my old 250ex sounded pretty much the same. hated it at first "too loud" but then grew to love it, great exhaust!

My dad put a sparks racing pipe on my honda curtis sparks makes them custom and when you want to go even faster hes got bore kits and eletrical such as cdi boxes if you wana race that thing i would change exhausts

CSR doesn't make them custom. They have the X-4, X-6, And X-6 Big core. And there's no need to change exhaust's. DMC was dyno'd in a pipe shootout and came out on top right on par with curtis sparks.

I know how to shift, im not a moron and have been riding clutch for a longggg time now. I was purposely short-shifting on the way down the road because she wasn't quite warmed up all the way. On the way back I held the gears a little longer but still tried to be easy on it. I know how to rail along the gears when I want to.

I would guess anywhere from 65-68mph. Quiet core just is an insert in the tip of the exhaust, that quiets it down for sound restrictions.
