u.s movie industry is truly dead, brain-dead. how do they manage to fuck up such a simple thing as a robot story? its even a giant robot. you could do dozens of simple still interesting plots.. but what do these brainless chicken heads do out of it? well they come with a moron and his son using it to fight and try to gain some cash...

@MurdocLC No, this robot has what they call a "shadow function". It just mimicks everything the person is doing. The robots aren't thinking by itself..

How is this movie gonna be? i saw the trailers like they used controllers for the robots. but whats he doing here? is he adding commands to the robot? is he gonna be like controlling the robot like using kinect or something?

@Zeemas this robot is special as it has something called shadow function where the user can stand right in front of the robot and it will mimic his movements exactly, other robots u see are moved with controllers, this can be moved with a controller as well though.

@mafu1990psb i just looked it up right now and yeah it is composed by danny elfman but it's on amazon for like $16. but The OST won't be available til november 1. yeah they do that sometimes when the OST comes out a few months after the movie. i was getting tried of danny elfman cause most of his compose music for his movies all sounds the same, but he did an excellent job with real steel.

Just got back from a special Preview of the Real Steel Film and i got to say you get exactly what you expect.

The film was AMAZING!!! 10/10 Simply put went with my 12 year old boy and when we left the cinema we tried to remember the last time we loved a film as much as this one????

And we couldn't come up with an answer..

If you have young kids it has everything for them.

Please go and see this film and when it is as good as i say Thumbs up me.
