Oh this was an excellent show, Otis Johnson (excellent in the Last Detail) and Don Murray, one of my favorite actors growing up made the most powerful team on television. It had racial overtones, but it was soooo good. I think it came on one season after "The New People" and before "The Big Valley"
Okay.... I'm pretty sure I have all the episodes on VHS. I'm going to digitize them and upload them to YouTube, I've been putting off for a long time, sorry. I'll tag them so keep an eye out, but it'll probably be a few weeks, I'm busy.
Dear medtner, I don't remember the story of that episode, but I do remember the snake biting Earl Corey out in the desert ! I remember Jamal Davis giving Earl Corey a cantene filled with water, and Earl Corey dropped the cantene and some water spilled out. Jamal said "Oh Corey !" I remember another episode where Corey was accused of shooting and killing a girl in a gun fight with a wanted killer. Corey had a nervous reaction in another gun fight and could not provide cover for Jamal.
Great Scott !! This was one of my favorite television shows of the 1968/69 TV season. Bounty hunters Earl Corey (Don Murray) and Jamal Davis (Otis Young) hunted down the very bad guys ! I have not heard this theme music since 1969, but I still remember it. The background music was intense also. I remember actor Brock Peters guest starring in one episode as a jailed innocent murder suspect. But the show I remember best is Earl Corey's ex slave, Gideon who was a psycho killer. A great series!
@fairnorth I remember well an episode in which Corey (it seems to me) is bited by a snake... and some others... But the original music was longer, with a repetition. If I find an old recording made with a tape recorder and a modest microphone near the tv, when I was a child, in the second half of '70s, I will post and the repetition in still there. Infact, it seems that this version ends too quickly. Of course, the sound will be bad...
Otis Young. I'll try to post the episodes soon, sorry I lag.

@lucienyoung Hi, good idea! It is lot of time that I don't see them in Italy, maybe they are aired in some region on a local tv.
