I killed off half of all grox existence...with mostly bombs and the vehicle jammer thing

people seem to be assuming that he destroyed the grox by bombing a city. The Grox don't contact you if you destroy them with terraforming, only if you bomb their city and they surrender.

As anyone who knows the (admittedly easier) method of killing the grox by terraforming ought to know...

And you can enter the galactic core thats how you get the staff of life.

Grox cant handle well atmospheres so making it a higher terra level you baisicly suffocate them and this guy was using a terraforming tool making it better but bad for the grox and that was the last planet so they all died and he got the badge

Tis' Heat Ray, it has unlimited usages but uses up energy. I think one of the 5star badges get you that one.

If you're talking about the "error... system failure blablabla" message, it happens even before the end xD Everytime the Grox surrender a system they go "error... system failure blablabla" and leave the system. You don't have to kill them all to see that message. You're still funny though lol :D

they don't usually give up,though,and instead typically force you to destroy them outright.oh and baron,it isn't nessecary to actually TALK to them...you can just blow the crap out of them with antimatter weapons and be done with it.

It isn't fake. Capturing and defeating are different. If you defeat them, you completely destroy the cities and the planet becomes unclaimed, which is what happened here. I should know, because I've only actually CAPTURED a planet once, and I've DESTROYED quite a few other civilizations.

Jesus. I attempted this badge once. I destroyed about 50 planets which took about 1 1/2 hours and it looked like I didn't even do anything.

Also, wouldn't it be faster to just Mega Bomb the cities?
