not tryin to be mean is it 1/2 cup of peanut butter or a cup of peanut butter.. cuz in the beginning u said ull need this this and this and a 1/2 cup of peanut butter but at the end before it starts boiling u put the peanut butter in which is a cup?
@MSaphrodite77 I use chocolate JELLO PUDDING mix instead of cocoa. the BEST cookies ever. the cocoa makes it soooooooo ... rich sort of.. if you use jello pudding mix you will NEVER go back to cocoa. I just use one of those big packages and dump it in. no use in sifting the sugar because its getting dissolved anyways...sifting just makes unnecessary extra work
first of all you have to do everything in the pan before you put it on the stove. much more effective and easy. and if your using the same measuring cup use dry ingredients first?
when i make these they turn out hard and unedible am i doing something wrong? is there a certain skillet temperature/setting? i normally turn mine on the highest level maybe it is to hot?
these cookies are definitly trial and error when they turn out good they are amazing when bad they are hard and crumbly or soft and goey and never come together
What can you replace peanut butter with? I am going on a field trip and these cookies seems like a good idea except we arent allowed to bring anything containing peanuts or and type of nut
how come every time i make these things, they never harden up, could it be that i use margarine or boil too long, i have made them a couple of thimes and they hardened but the majority of the time they never harden up and then they are not cery good but i stil eat them
I've made these dozens of times since my childhood and learned from some ealry mistakes.
I've only used butter so I can't speak to that being the cause of not hardening. The only times I had the cookies not harden was when I didn't boil them long enough. I let mine boil around 1:20, and I define boild as a full roll. The times they didn't harden I was defining my boil start early.
ok you lost me at the start you gave the ingre, you said 1/2 cup peanut butter then in the video at 3:26 u said 1 cup of peanut butter so im lost now is it half cup or 1 cup
Again, I've made many many batches of this cookie and can tell you it makes no differnence in the cookies consistency if you add .5 or 1 cup of PB. I personally add a a heaping cup as I like the flavor of the PB. It may make the end product a bit more creamy, not sure. I do know that the times I've over boiled, regardless of the amt. of PB they get rather grainy, and crumbly.
youre coocking them

I'm pretty sure she meant teaspoon of vanilla. That was a pretty small tablespoon and a cap full is nowhere near a tablespoon.
