Now in this video, you forwarded a port to server and clients use servers normal ip. Hamachi just doesn't do anything in the background. What I'm saying is that you (video creators) can uninstall your hamachi and if you do everything correctly with your port forwarding, it will work and no such a program like hamachi will be eating some resources of your computer.

You don't need to forward ports if you use hamachi. hamachi is useful for those who can't open any ports anywhere cause they ether use some kind of wireless 4d internet, or parents doesn't give them access to router. Hamachi is a program, which creates a VPN (Virtual private network). That not literally makes computer think that everyone on hamachi is in same network, so there is no more need to forward any ports anywhere.

Update: If you use Hamachi, connect to the gmod server with the IP shown on the right side of the host's name on Hamachi. With this way, there's no need to forward any ports.

If you don't use Hamachi, everyone should be able to connect if the ports are properly forwarded.
