  • @namcox21

It's been a year since my last message! ^^

  • omg! this is koool! but yeah the chick trying way to hard

  • @Bentenyson1

    How'd you know?

  • It seems that the graphics, the lighting, the concept of slavery, the voices, the awkward silences in some games, and definitely the music makes at least me feel uneasy. This is truly one of the best games of all time. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • I didn't like the voices, so I switched to gibberish, but it's not the same gibberish as in the PC/N64/Dreamcast versions, so I'm sad...

I played every version except for the PS1 and iOS one, including Rayman 3D!

  • Are I only who perfers ps1 versions voices? Globox sound even worse than on rayman3(pc)

  • Gotta love this nicely cinematic opening :)

  • When I was younger, that place with the cabin with infinite pirates and scary music just made me have nightmares for ages.

  • first time i played it it was like O.o

i had to go to the bathroom because i got sick of it

    then i trowed it away

(it costed $10 when i bought it)

  • My first PS2 game.

  • @EmperorFishFinger

And the voice actor of Rayman in this version (English) is the same old David Gasman, the one who voiced Rayman in gibberish versions and now you can hear him speaking English in this version.

  • @EmperorFishFinger

You can go to the ''voice'' selection in the option menu and set the voiceover to ''Raymanian''. Then they speak gibberish in PS2 version. I have Rayman 2 for all consoles (even Dreamcast), handhelds (except iOS) and PC. The first version was PC, then PS1, N64, PS2, NDS (as Rayman DS) and last Dreamcast. I don't care about the MIDI-music, I rather play Rayman 2 the most on N64.

  • @Aatu90 no the n64 version was the first one

but also some people say the n64 and pc versions where released at the same time

  • So they don't speak gibberish in this one?

  • this version has a lot of loading it appears. Even the Dreamcast has no such issue.

  • This always made me so sad...even though I couldn't understand half of it by the time, but it was just so sad :'(

  • Rayman Revolution + PS2 = Win

Also this Looks Like The DS Version But Better Graphics and The Level Selection is Different

  • the gulf really changed damn BP those pirates

  • Some of my friends call me Andy.

  • What's the diference between Rayman 2: The great scape and Rayman Revolution?

  • "Globox! My friend!" *GLOMPHUG*

I love how he just lights up when he sees Globox.

    ADORABLE.

    "Yaahoooo!!"

  • 5:04. Have retained the original Rayman cry.

  • Globox's voice is RIDICULOUS!!! i like the one from rayman 3 better.

  • Noo! They changed some of the voice actors for the minor characters!

  • Yes. Actually it's the remake version called Rayman Revolution.

  • but in rayman reveloution it's more detailed than rayman 2. you can buy stuff

  • This game is Rayman 2 The best Escape ?

  • Rayman revolutions a remake of TGE. The PC version of rayman 2 is the best in my opinion, but this is fantastic remake.

  • what is the difference between rayman 2 revolution and rayman revolution

  • I loved this game when I was little. Best game ever...

  • wow you can play copy games i too

  • this was like the best game ever for ps1 haahaa :)

  • hehe I've got it for christmas too (for the ps1)... it's a great game.... i wonder where I can find a good torrent for revolution

  • Ohh god i remember this game. I got it as a christmas present I love my daddie and Mommy

  • I remember those ol loading screens!!!

  • Honestly i perfer the orginal rayman 2 to the revolution. Maybe i'm just used to the gibberish language. I just perfer the gibberish language better. The voice acting to me honestly sounds a bit cheesy. althgh I guess it would be cool to check the added stuff to the revolution version. Lol I got rayman 2 for the pc version (when I was four) back in 1999. lol i couldnt read then so I had to figure out how to play the game all on my own.

  • well, the PS2 also had actual voices, but..i guess the n64 or the DS version was ur best bet

  • Dreamcast version is the best really.

  • You can change the voice acting to the Rayman language in the options.

  • I love this game, I searched every Gamestop just to find it, I didn't even care if they didn't have a box, I made one for myself. I just wanted the game and that's it. I finally found it on the 4th Gamestop.

    Yes.

  • you could have just checked on ebay lol

  • Well, yeah... My parents never let me get anything through the internet. ;___;

  • wow that sucks lol

  • @KelvTwelve Hey same with but it was the 2nd game stop for me!

  • I'm downloading your Rayman videos in HQ (High Quality) right now!!!!!

  • that's weird instead of them saying 18,000

    something now they're saying 19,000

  • My Rayman Revolution is not working. When I'm into the Prison Ship I can not do anything. I Can only spin the Camera and The Globox is saying "Rayman break the door with your fists" I am fan of Rayman games and want to play that Game. What I can do?

  • mine is messed up, once it gets to a loading screen it never goes past it

  • You aren't playing on a PS3 are you? Many PS2 games aren't supported on modern PS3's.

  • 40 gigs dont support i know the 60s do for sure coz i have 1, and i dunno bout the 80s or 20s

  • whats the deffrece bettween rayman revoulution and raymn the great excape

  • Well it's exactly the same concept, only in Rayman Revolution there's a different way to select levels, the graphics are better and quite often the levels are very different from the originals too.

  • There's an awesome new hub system instead of a simple level select. The hub level select is an enormous gorgeous and fun level in itself. I'd actually buy the PS2 version if I had another version since the changes are so cool!

  • and your series are awesome thanx for the walkthrough:]

  • No, it isn´t. It´s André.

  • looks like your real name is andy

  • i regret that my rayman revolution is now destroyed and console ps2 fucked up of oldness of few years

  • i wish i didnt get rid of it =[

  • Are you playing in a emulator?

  • Why did it say "Playstation 2 Infinity"?

  • I remember playing this for the N64, and I remember them speaking gibberish; things like "New-agoo-stew" and "Yabba-doba-lob-labba" or something like that. I can tell that's Rayman's same voice from in Hoodlum Havoc, too.

  • Yeah, they didn't give voices to the characters in the N64 version. In the PSX PS2 versions, they gave them speaking parts. However, the PSX didn't have the voice telling how many slaves were on board.

  • I see. The N64 was not capable of supporting the voice-overs, but those weird, jibberish things... But it was good nonetheless.

  • Yeah i saw pc versions of The Great Escape and it had strange things too.TGE was great and i'm happy to own this for PS2 :)

  • This is easily the best version.

  • This is better that rayman 2.

  • THIS IS RAYMAN 2 (a remake of it)

  • wow. this was the first game i ever had for the ps2. (sniff) i feel so nostalgic. :'( lol

  • 3:30- 3 2 1 GLOMP.

I miss the loading screens and the credits from the original, and dislike the English voices, but Rayman revolution is still the best version.

Globox's voice in particular makes me want to facepalm though.

  • Jack Black voices Globox, believe it or not.

  • well hes not. theres evidence that proves he doesn't. why would you even say that?

  • There's barely any evidence who voices Globox (except for IMDB which lists John Leguizamo as Globox in Rayman 3) and as far as I know, I saw a site which had Jack Black listed as Globox's voice in Rayman 2.

Don't be such a drama llama because I might've been wrong (or was wrong, for that matter).

  • you are wrong, globox sound nothing like jack black. its a very stupid thing to say

  • Just because it doesn't sound like Jack Black doesn't mean it isn't. I'm basing my guess on a cast list rather than his voice. Even if it isn't him, whatever. I don't care whether I'm right or wrong.

And if you wouldn't mind, stop going out of your way to pin down people for every little mistake they make. It makes you seem like a pompous dick, and nobody appreciates a negative nancy who can't appreciate flaws.

  • Oh wow.

Best version of Rayman 2, for sure.

    The graphics look great!

Not much better than the PC version, however, but really good. The voice acting is...

I dunno, it's pretty good. Anyway, nice to see some footage of RR

  • Nice.

You can put in more than 3 characters to name your file. And things are looking even better.

Those loading screen are neat, but unfortunately long :(
