or id rather weight = constant acceleration towars a larger object. things feel heavy because your feeling them accelerate or move towards the earth constantly. thier also hard to push because thier constantly moving towards the earth while the earth rotates and moves towards the object. double end of rant lol. man i need to lay off the jolt cola.
you can also do the expirment with a laser in one hand or light source and see if the light source will reach the ground before the shoe, you'll easily see the laser reaches the ground because its larger than the shoe. aristotle in my opinion was indeed correct. also smaller objects will burn up more quickly in the atmosphere due to friction caused by windsheer wich is why meteors burn up. so yes indeed, bigger is faster. go check out the average speed and size comparisons of planes/boats.
if you had one shoe bigger than the other that was im guessing your hight being 6 feet tall and the other, you can easily touch the ground with the bigger shoe. end of rant.
remember gang a large enough object is always faster than a smaller one because a large enough object can easily reach two points at the same time while a small one takes time to get thier.
gravity is 20% drag caused by the earths atmosphere and 80% acceleration caused by the earth moving faster due to its size, rotation and speed traveling faster than the smaller object, the object constantly accelerating towards the earth simply cannot get out of the way of the earth accelerating more quickly.
as light gets faster it gets bigger. :). wahooo. why must we kiss the behind of 500 year + old ideas. newton also believed in astrology and sunworship. can we get out of the dark ages of ass kissery of scientists. all it takes is for one intellectual to screw things up for everyone else.
newton also made a mistake in his idea of rest, downward acceleration is constant. also if objects "rested" they wouldnt age as forward travel through time is a constant.A LARGE ENOUGH OBJECT CAN EASILY REACH TO THE STARTING POINT AND THE FINISH POINT. if objects traveled at the same speed, larger objects wouldnt require more force to propel them, they would all use the same amount of force. also go check out wich is bigger and faster in building ships and planes, the sr71 is a HUGE metal beast.
when you feel something "heavy" your feeling it accelerate not drag or slow down towards the earth. the higher you drop something also the faster it travels. newtons mistake was one of safety purposes just like most of the people who try this expiriment small objects you can easily carry simply arent fast enough to notice a speed difference. try a grand piano and a shoe. :).
you guys crack me up. ok if you have a 200 ton object in one hand and a 2 lb object thrust in the other wich is going to be moving faster towards the floor or will they both be the same speed? a large object is ALWAYS faster than a smaller object because a large enough object can easily reach two points. you may say the bigger you make something the heavier it gets in argument, this isnt true with the invention of both the laser and artificial light sources. :).

not to write a book, end of rant. homework, homework, homework before self congradulation and adulation of an idea.

weight=constant downward acceleration towards a large body.
