Are all of the creatures in a generation tested all at the same time?

Yes. The fitness of every creature is updated every three seconds or so, and after 10 updates a new generation based on the fittest from the last one is created.

Another program has each creature tested individually but that makes each generation last allot longer. (Definitely not good.)
I do have to say that the biggest appeal of your program for me is the symmetry and the hinges.

Very nice. I always thought that a game that would let you simulate evolution would be a fun one (that is, a program that anyone can use rather than just computer programmers)
