@harpsichordRB Baroque allegro is slower then later music-periods same appreciation of that tempo. I feel here that the allegro is just right for this piece. Faster would just ruin it and make it to fast.
Baroque tuning was generally lower, and that's what period groups generally do as well. Common practices are A = 415 Hz instead of 440 Hz, which is a semitone lower.
