Does anyone have any idea how to watch the UNcensored version, now? When I go to dailymotion (dot) com/3DogPictures, I don't see any episode 3, neither do I see it at nwlive (dot) tv/family It's not even on the official 3DogPictures website. Maybe I'm not looking right, but I would love some help.
So far we've seen what, maybe fifteen minutes of this show? I don't expect them to deal with everything from how parents react to comparative divorce rates in the first fifteen minutes.
A pre-release party for the Family DVD is being held during Polycamp 2009 on Friday night, August 28. Check out polycampDOTorg under the EVENTS link for details.
I grew up understanding poly. My parents never really practiced it, but believe in it. I try to explain to friends of mine how it works and they are mostly under the impression that it is as the one guy quotes, "like cheating on your wife without cheating". I try to explain the best I can, this show might help explain a little better. Thanks for putting it out there. WOOT for using Chris' music. Staple of the poly community.
The alternative viewing site rejects the email address I try (beacuse I am using a subdomain name I reserve for possible spam?) so I am reluctant to join.
I agree, I also do not see polyamoric families divorce like ganubby says.
BUT I DO see a lot of people thinking that polyamory solves their marriage problem, then go on having an affair with a polyamoric partner but keep on cheating and lying to their own partner for months maybe years with the clame that they don't want to hurt their feelings. THOSE people gets divorced when the wife discovers he has been lying and cheating.
The other cause of divorce I have seen is a none-polyamorous person, misuses polyamory to replace his own partner.
It starts with showing sites like polyamory to convince his partner to try it. Once he has a green light he starts fucking everywhere he can, until he find a woman and then decide to leave his wife to continue monogampously with this new woman.
Hello, 3DogPictures. Say, I have a question that might seem personal, but since you're putting things based on your personal experiences on the web, I guess it's fair game. What if one of your male partners came home and said he met someone he likes, and wants her to also be his girlfriend? What would you say?
Everyone's got feelings, so it's never easy to change your family dynamic... but it's like adding another kid to your family if done right - there's enough love to go around!

The vast majority of polyamorous couples get divorced. It's clear these people are not professional actors, but it might be nice if this show dealt with the actual heart-wrenching problems that almost always wreck these relationships instead of this sanitized, cutesy version of adultery.
what a cheating bastard - poor gemma and gail!

I'd love to see the stats, myself!
Because we all know that boyfriend/girlfriend relationships of the monogamous type stay together forever...
And of course, Monogamous marriages - what's the divorce rate there nowadays?
How about we just agree that relationships don't always work out, and sometimes people break up :)
