  • what about "i'm not gonna lie".....meaning that evey word you utter without saying that phrase is a lie....you always lie except in this brief sentence or story. makes me grind my teeth when i here that!

  • People say could care less? I've always said "I couldn't care less."

  • I don't know why, but in this video, you remind me of the Kung Fu Panda.

  • tj looks like a middle aged man without his hair or beard

  • 9:14 "All the sudden"? Since we're on the topic of proper grammar, I feel it necessary to correct you, as it should be "All of a sudden"

  • He is clearly talking about his previously unknown father @ 9:26.

  • One minute you say people put their opinion over others by saying a video is over-rated but then you say you judge people. To judge someone is to say you are better than them and you know whats right and wrong in their world.

  • I hate it when a total stranger complains about something you do, not just swearing but your actions that doesn't affect them or ANYBODY else at all. Like I was cleaning out my cup with FREE water and then some dickhead redneck just says, "Why are you wastin' them products?"

Seriously, what? Are you some manager?

  • last one was the best, people overreacting to curse words as if theyre actually bad... everyone curses, get over it

  • Woman: "Go punch that guy, he called you a faggot."

TJ: "No, I don't want to get involved."

    Woman: "Be a man!"

TJ: "You don't even know! Oh shit..."

  • "yellow is yellow"

  • Explicit content lol

  • My first TAA video :D

  • "If I was there, I would have (insert action here towards certain person.)" Yeah, you feel all big and mighty saying that. You want to comfort the person who was negatively affected by this person in this situation. BUT it's very likely you are saying something you would never live up to, because you want to look all big and mighty. If you were there, you'd probably do nothing, or you'd ignore it, or run away. I'm guilty of using that phrase, but try not to use it anymore.

  • I use "it is what it is" as a conclusion to a conversation I am not interested in having (like when someone is persistently whining about something I couldn't care less about). Just break in with "it is what it is" and nine times out of ten the person will say: "Yeah, I guess you're right." I find it more polite than "shut up - I don't care about your problems."

  • Big daddy Cody!

  • well it is what it is lol

  • If they're going to ridicule someone for using too many profanities, they should say "you sound like a 12-year-old."

  • The "watch your language, there are children around" one is funny because 12-year-olds use profanities more than adults do.

  • You should watch your language around Cody he's very impressionable

  • When people start with "honestly" yet are not honest about what follows at all.

The "unoriginal" part ... flawless victory.

  • Im so sick of these fucking ads. Im not watching tv don't force me to watch commercials. put your ads on the side bar.

  • @shimsham35 That's how both Youtube and Youtubers stay in business so you cn see it all for free.

  • Come on now....... Everything that can be done con be done with flawless form... Then it is art. Even eating the lowley bisket.... Bently eased open.... The right amout of butter... that mens lots....... it's an art....... Your rants are an art as well......... ev en though someone else watching might give it the same level of artistic value of eating a bisket....... poorly.

You know what I'm sayin.......... Good work by the way.

  • @Maxamus101 You need to cut back on your punctuation, friendo.

  • Man I could care so much less about this video. AKA I liked this :D

  • HOLY SHIT THANK YOU TJ FOR EXPLAINING HOW IT SHOULD BE COULDN'T NOT COULD EVERYBODY AROUND ME SAYS COULD FOR SOME STRANGE FUCKING REASON

  • @MrRockandRollx Probably because they're stupid.

  • This is somewhat like the way that George Carlin talked about language. How unoriginal.

  • You have not seen my performance art where I eat biscuits.

  • saying something is overrated can be justified though....

  • Is it just me or is the background in this video kinda moving?

  • I've been in maybe 50-60 fights in my life (from about 14) Won some lost some, broke about 20 bones and various other wounds, a couple dozen arrests, (mostly drunken fistfights a 1-2 nights in a cell), 2 stints in a psychiatric hospital, 8 months of rehab (Salvation Army!?),2 1/2 way houses, jail, ambulances & hospital visits. When I say "I woulda punched the motherfucker in the head." I really mean it. The intraweb is so much better for me than real interaction.

  • @TheCrimsonification Watch out, we got a badass over here.

  • @branchan94 You can't tell me everyone on Toutube has never punched a face? Most people avoid conflict, "flight or flight" is part of them. Mine is "fight". Yes, I'm a confrontational asshole, but face to face I back my shit up. If I take a whuppin' for it, so be it. But I'm not a pussy that takes his beating lying down.

  • @branchan94 BTW, I was knocked out cold by a 5' 110 lb. Asian dude with a round house kick in the time it took me to throw a punch. It was 5 minutes b4 I was aware I was being arrested for "Drunk & Disorderly".

  • @TheCrimsonification Admittedly, that is a pretty cool story

  • @branchan94 Next time someone pushes you...PUSH BACK. Being a pussy is no way to live.

  • @branchan94 BTW... so what if you get punched in the face. So what if you break a rib. So what if you crack 2 knucles on a dudes head. It's all in fun. Mostly....well, not really bt it was part of my lifestyle. Bottom line: I have no problems with hitting folks in their faces.

  • @TheCrimsonification Certainly being a pushover is no way to live, I totally agree. Though I'm a pacifist and hopefully wouldn't of put myself in a situation where I'd need to get violent. But, I think I'd rather opt for a more tactful resolution to violence as opposed to violence itself.

  • @branchan94 If you and me were to meet in a dark alley. I'd use whatever means nescescary to put you down. You would prolly look for a way out and bargain to death. We're different. That's all. :-)

  • @TheCrimsonification I disagree. Firstly, I cannot see any reason I would of put myself in said situation, and secondly, I would soon ascertain whether my attacker (ie, you in this scenario) would accept reason and if not I'd certainly fight you off or give it my best shot. Basically what I'm saying is that violence would always be a last resort for me - I'm not taking a strictly pacifist Ghandi type approach, because ultimately that's impractical in this scenario, but reason would come first.

  • @branchan94 Then I suppose if we had a mano-a-mano disagreement, you would concede? I don't buy it. A man knows how to throw a punch, and not take shit. If I made you mad enuff, you'd hit back. That's the threshhold of "Bring It."

  • I think the 5 Phrases I Hate the most are:

    5) "God Believes in you."

    4) "I'll pray for you."

    3) "You'll regret it (Atheism) when you're dead and have to face god."

    2) "Prove god doesn't exist." (This one comes with a smug, punch worthy grin.)

    1) "God bless you." (When they know you're Atheist, it's just pissing in your face and saying it's their god crying.)

  • Rush Limbaugh?

  • TJ you should check out "I could care less" by Devildriver. That would really piss u off.

  • I miss Cody's bony ass :(

  • What he says from about 5:00 onward kind of contradicts with his liberal status.

  • generic would be more suitable instead of unoriginal

  • Some old lady did tell off my brother once, for swearing in a public area. I felt like saying something rude to her - But the words died in my throat, an' I just turn away from her.

  • regarding the "could care less"

    FUCKING

    THANK

    YOU

  • @lexluthier22 I'm not a native english speaker and I never understood why people say "could care less". MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE!

  • jesus. so literal.

  • ars, artis, Latin, refers to technical skill, hence we get words like artefacts, artistry, artificial, artifice, which have to do with technical craft, things that are made with skill, man made, etc. Not sure why anyone would hate this phrase, but it is certainly not incorrect to saying there is an art to mopping a floor. While it may not be a particularly sophisticated skill, it still requires some skill, I suppose.

  • No no no. Watch your language is similar to "watch your step" .... watch meaning "take care in". Regardless I'd tell them to fuck off as well.

  • IT is...... What it is........

  • Just so you know TJ, the word 'art' comes from the latin word artem, meaning a practical skill or craft, like artificer. So mopping a floor is technically art.

  • "FUK YOUU... FUK YOUU BILL MAHER! FUCK YA MUDDAH" hahaha that gets me every time

  • first watch 6:30--6:40 than Look up "TJ and Cody ANSWERS -- Part 1" at (34:45)

  • i have watched your videos for so long now i speak using long words

  • I hate the phrase "I'da" for a different reason. When ever I hear someone say "I'da kicked his ass," I always wonder, "Wait, who the f*uck is Ida?"

  • @litlemsevil I have a girl in my class called Ida Ho (no joke, it's her real name). She could be the one you think they refer to.

  • Why are his videos so popular with guys? Motivated by curiosity and perhaps boredom, I often click on the "Video Statistics" button, and it's always males that watch his videos the most. I don't understand why this would be more appealing for a guy to watch than a girl since what he says tends to be stuff that's relevant to everyone, and isn't usually one gender-orientated in the slightest.

  • @XxxRisingAgainstxxX

I'd assume because more men would rather waste their time on shit like this than women.

  • @DocRavage Sounds plausible lol

  • @DocRavage

Nope. I waste plenty of time here.

  • :D Cody's censored ass is hot :)

  • I could care less about this video, but I don't^^

  • This thumbnail for this video makes you look like a teletubby.

  • almost every movie is overrated, even if they are good movies.

  • if you think about it someone could say skyrim is unoriginal......

  • @doombybbr nonsense

  • @Flawrey i meant that films get a lot of hype and never turn out as good as they are supposed to be and if you are saying that because you are an internet troll.... it is very sad.

  • @doombybbr no sir, YOU are sad. I can see it through my computer screen

  • @Flawrey that confirms that you are an internet troll... and you cannot determine the emotional state of someone just based on the comment section, that is just stupid.

  • @doombybbr no dumbass i know u is sad so shutup ya nut.

  • @Flawrey this is turning into a flame war... and you cannot thing of any relevent insults

  • @doombybbr wow really i mean come on are u fuckin serious what the hell

  • @Flawrey counter troll'd

  • @doombybbr duuuuuude

  • i could care less about this video...

  • You look kinda like robert deniro in the thumbnail.

  • I agree with you on all of the words and phrases you listed. You didn't happen to mention one of the most irritating lines of all time (in my opinion): "Everything happens for a reason." Fucking shit, just gag me. I HATE that phrase because it's a lie, and because it's used constantly, most often to justify horrific incidents such as death, rape, and destruction.

  • I agree with everything but 'take it or leave it.' it's usually not just a 2 way decision. Most of the time people are bartering when they say that..when I bought my bike 2 years ago, the price was 7g. I tried to lower it to 5.5 but he said he can't go below 6. When he said take it or leave it, he means 'don't barter anymore, it's that price or nothing.' a

  • The last one happens to me all the time. I don't even swear all that often but I do partake in the occasional use of the f-bomb, among others. Yet every time I swear in public there seems to be some old lady within range who tells me to watch my language. I usually just give her a "yep, sure" then turn around and proceed to swear as profusely as I can while I continue my conversation. The offended huffing they usually make is so satisfying.

  • @TheDinocam Precisely, and what's so bad about profanity in the first place? Dick. It means penis. Men have them. Really? Is that an offensive word? What about genocide? No, but shit is. Which means feces. Society is fucked to the core.

  • I'm guilty of It is what it is... But I only use it when shit goes out of my control and I can't do anything... I mean I could bitch and complain about it but nobody fucking cares :)

  • Someones a David Mitchell fan

  • the best comeback to someone calling you unoriginal is saying "that was very unoriginal to say that"

  • 7:52 - 8:41 Thumbs up to that! Someone get this man a beer.

  • OMFG 2:25

TY so much, I tell ppl this every freaking day!!!!!!

I'm not sure how it caught on, but it pisses me off so much!!!!!!

    TYTYTYTYTYTYTY

  • dude if a parent tells you kindly to watch your language, you should respect that you dick. it's not that big a deal, they're not trying to condescend you. I hope you get your face beaten in some day

  • @JockBGibson isn't there something called freedom of speech?

  • @JockBGibson if a parent were to beat his face in in front of the children, isn't that WORSE that cursing? wouldn't that just be an example of hypocrisy? and atop that, an example of an extremely controlling person? "won't shut your mouth? i'll shut it for you!"

  • "you only live once" is one the stupidest things i have ever heard. as opposed to the option of living twice? or three times? its such and obvious statement its like saying "the grass is green" and thinking you're a deep person. i hate that one the most.

  • when i say overrated i mean it kinda sucks

  • @fg16 then say it kinda sucks

  • @fg16

But that's not what it means. Other will think about what they know as its meaning. That's why it's a bad idea to use words in a different meaning than usual.

  • @fg16 And when I say bicycle I mean hat

  • 'explicit content' idk why but he sounds so cool when he says that and I just watched it so many times.

  • I think the point of saying "you can take it or leave it" is to emphasize your helplessness to bring you around to not making a stupid decisions which would both fuck up you and the person who said it.

  • Was that a "Stranger In A Strange Land" refrence you made?

I kind of love you, TJ.

  • You are genuinely hilarious

  • HEY! that film about buterflies up there asses was art ART!

  • I hate this phrase: You walk up to someone and you're all like hey! are you billy bob? and then they're all like "in the flesh!!" I hate that phraaseeeee!! Its like..you're in flesh? It just sounds weird. I don't give a crap if youre in flesh. I asked you a question. Just say yes or no! Don't try to be cool and make up weird phrases!! Ugh. -_-

  • 2:51 Care Bear: Did someone say care-o-meter!? :DDDD

  • about the "could care less thing".... THAAAAAAAAANNK YOOOOOOUUUUU!!!!!!!!

  • watch = be conscious of

  • "It is what it is" - from last I heard it was used in a rather casual tone, really. And I don't think it's really ever meant for just stating reflexive.

  • "I could care less" - I think that's meant as sarcastic

  • some things happen to be more perceivable as commonplace than others

  • I think art is used synonymous with prowess or defined way of doing in that figure of speech

  • you have never seen me eat biscuits...LOL

  • Oh ... The Care-O-Meter!

    That's just wonderful

  • WOW I NEVER THOUGHT ANYBODY WOULD EVERR ADRESS MY ISSUE WITH "COULD CARE LESS" everyone i ask goes uh, duhHH and then walks away.

  • Comment removed

  • hahah your southern accent is on point.

  • I don't think there is anything wrong with the usage of the word "watch" in "watch your language". "To watch" has multiple meanings. In this case it's used with the meaning "to mind/be careful with" just like in "watch your step".

  • Watching your videos makes me want to play oblivion again..

  • i always talk about the i couldn't care less. fuck...

  • You should have included how people say "Itch it" instead of "Scratch it"

  • I could care less about this video...

  • 3:43 lol, green porn...

  • "it is what it is" This doesn't annoy me because the statement simply means, don't try to look for a deeper meaning or question why it happened, there is no distinguishable reason or blame in this instance.

  • THANK YOU FOR POINTING OUT THE COULD CARE LESS THING *claps*

  • 4:10 What a hypocrite, hahaha.

  • AHHH the "could care less" thing bothers me too. You dumbasses, IT MAKES NO SENSE.

  • YAY Finally someone that says "Couldn't care less" like me :D, I always thought there was something wrong when people said could care less, but I never said anything about it haha

  • Snozberries taste like snozberries.

  • Actually, saying you could care less does say SOMETHING about your stance. It says that you actually do care :P

  • i hate when people come to me saying "why are you sad?" or "put a smile on your face".

because they try help in something if they knew how to help they would'nt say those phrases.

  • Fuck yoooooo! Fuck yo madah!

  • Phrases are good for emphasis. just like the word fuck.

  • Hilarious but all true. haha..loved it.

  • i hate the term hater, people only use that term when you argue about a topic, for example i could be talking to a nickleback fan, and give them many reasons, legit reasons why they are not good, and the person will reply with the term hater, it just means they can't come up with a intelligent argument, most likely because they are a nickelback fan lol

  • Are you the reincarnation of George Carlin?

  • @jridenoure

Or a complete and blatant rip off, One of the two

  • @jridenoure HOLY SHIT!!!! I ALWAYS SAY THAT ABOUT HIM! hahahahah :)

  • This is the first time I've heard/seen an American acknowledge the retardedness of the phrase "I could care less".

  • Motzart: people like him make wheels

  • Kids swear all the time and they're going to do it anyway when their older

  • i have always hated "i could care less"

  • I hate it when people say "only god can judge me" those people tend to be some of the most judgemental douche bags of all

  • @mexicanmayhem88 they're nothing except cunt lickers

  • @mexicanmayhem88 *Points at himself* :D

  • The most annoying phrase of our childhoods: "Because I'm the mother/father that's why!"...

It doesn't matter if they're wrong, or not making sense. It's just their way of conveying the fact that they have nothing relevant to say. =P

  • @IamDaBadee It doesn't work, thats the problem with it. Their point is lost and the child learns nothing, everyone loses, lazy fucking parents ;D

  • When someone tells you about this rule or regulation so stupid that they can't justify its purpose they will fucking say "Oh well, rules are rules". No fucking shit they're rules, that doesn't change the fact that they make no god damn sense. What if during the third reich one nazi guy says to another nazi guy "Hey, don't you think its horrible that we have to do all of this?" Would the appropriate response be "rules are rules" then. If you need a law, make it. If it turns out you didn't, own up

  • Yeah. Be a woman and make me a sandwich. NOW !! ...makes sense right :/

  • Lol. I love Opie and Anthony. They don't really talk that way that was just Anthony being a tuff guy cause he doesn't like Maher... Also my friend try actually living in NY and being stuck at the drive thru lane at the Wendy's cause 2 guys are going back and forth (Guy#1: Fock youuu, Guy #2: *grabs crotch* yeah right heeya buddy, right heeya, ya mudda fucka, go fuck yaself)...Shit like that happened constantly when I lived on Long Island

  • I hate it when people say "from whence" instead of just "whence".

  • It is what it is. Depending on your definition of "is", that is.

  • Can we get a little more of that explicit material? :p

  • Wasn't, "I could care less", a form of sarcasm?

  • @daftmarzo nope it was a case of the USA copying a british phrase and getting it wrong

  • @inextricableenigma Just kidding btw don't take it seriously

  • Also, I'da kick your ass because you need to watch your language, there are children here

  • @inextricableenigma ........................

  • @inextricableenigma How long did it take to write this comment? It's good!

  • @inextricableenigma rofl @ simon cowel of youtube videos. WHO.THE.FUCK.ARE.YOU. ;DD;D;;D

  • @inextricableenigma

I think your comment is overrated. If I was writing your comment, I'da kicked your ass in likes. Oh, and if you respond, watch your language, there are kids on YouTube.

  • @inextricableenigma wow you are lame

  • I bet someone told the AA to "watch his language" at a restaurant, he said nothing back and now he is here bitching about it.

Anyways, I hate when ghetto people say the "ain't fake" and they have a lot of "haterz", poor deluded mother fuckers.

  • No "Its not hard, it just takes alot of effort and getting used to."
