@tonywrestles2 Heather was also filming 80s tv cop show TJ Hooker at the same time so the writers had to come up with ways that Sammy Jo would disappear for a bit and then come back when she had free time from shooting Hooker that ran for 5 years. When Aaron Spelling found a star he would maximize and make sure they were in anything he produced.
