  • god you sound so hateful when you say this. Where as it may be a touchy issue, we can't get involved personally, just like politics, it just makes us angry. This has nothing to do with my personal view, abortion helps others who are guarrantied to live, these fetus's arent humans who will feel pain or feel emotion. if you want to feel bad about abortion, you may as well feel bad about billions of ameba who are cannot feel emotion or pain and are denied life literally at ALL TIMES.

  • watch out Chris the Obamagod does not like dissent, He will find you in the bunker...

  • word.

  • And... what about gov. funded black projects, the Iraq war, excessive oil use, etc....

People may not approve of those things. But, alot of it is funded by taxpayer dollar.

    Just something to think about.

  • Yeah killing innocent unborn children and killing terrorists and ruthless dictators are so similar.

  • Well, alot people don't wanna give their taxes to so called poor people who "aren't worth anything" that take advantage of social projects, yet those taxpayers pay for that everyday. They don't agree with that, just as they don't agree with funding "possible planned abortions". Grow up. Pay your taxes. Get congress to do something else if your unhappy.

  • Uh, no one in Congress will listen to the voice of the people: where is the vocal dissent against the very unpopular stimulus? Nowhere...

  • If only Obama's mother excercised her right to choose...I think perhaps abortion may have been tolerable in that case...:)

And I would have help fund it too...:-)))

  • Believe it or not, abortion was one of the only things he was really passionate about - the rest he took the typical politicians stance on. Reading up on his background, you can see where this position comes from...

  • Wow! I laughed as people neg me for promotiing OB's mother for her right to choose. The millions of aborted babies in the US alone, had a future and a purpose. Why aren't they negging OB for promoting their destruction? Okay to destroy some babies, but not others? Who gets to decide who gets the ax? Everyone who promotes abortion should be willing to go through one themselves, let's say by my choice, since Im a woman. I should be able to choose to kill them. It's about choice, right?

  • k. imma come right on out and say this. i am a christian. a christian that believes abortion is a choice. i don't think the gov should fun it though. and ya. china. one child per family. i hear ya chris.

  • Hey, if you're going to waste money on abstinence-only sex "education", you might as well pay for the inevitable abortions caused by such gross misinformation......you reap what you sow....then again are there ANY private sources, or charities lining up to fund this sort of thing....

  • Pfft - that's a waste of money too. Sure there are - plenty of private clinics and family planning centers. Not everything needs to be government run you know...

  • Agreed. Abstinence is BS. The kids are going to be sexually active anyways - you may as well give them the condoms. And its the PARENTS job to educate them about sex AND hand them out.

  • No...No...NO!!! He is not funding ABORTIONS. He is reinstating funding to clinics that LEGALLY perform abortions. The Bush administration stop funding these clinics but not others.

These clinic's do more then just perform abortions, like Plan Parenting, examinations, EDUCATION to the very poor. These programs are well needed and you know that. REMEMBER a woman has a right to CHOOSE. Having an abortion is a choice a WOMAN makes, not an ORDER...

  • Completely agree - a woman has a right to choose. However, not one penny of taxpayer money should be going to funding these clinics, whether they perform abortions or not. Private donations should fund these clinics.

  • If you think abortion is killing another innocent human life... how can you say a woman has a right to choose this option without an appropriate consequence?? Just curious.

  • Simple. It's not my decision to make. I would personally not do it. But I also have no right to tell that woman what to do. I have no control, and should have no control over the actions of others.

"I swear -- by my life and my love of it -- that I will never live for the sake of another, nor ask another man to live for mine". - Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged.

  • That is disappointing to hear from a libertarian that recognizes the life of an pre-born child. As a libertarian myself... I recognize and respect the rights, property, and liberty of everyone. Doesnt that innocent child have a "right" to life or his/her property (body). It seems to me we have the responsibility to protect innocent life if we have the power to do so. I just started on your videos and we agree on most points, but not this one... more..

  • anyways... i didnt want to get into an abortion debate. I guess the arguement will continue on whether the baby's body is the property of the mother or the property of the baby.

  • Exactly. This is kind of why I step away from this decision. You could conceivably make the argument that the moment the fetus is viable outside of the body, it has rights that should be protected. However, the term "viable" changes based on our own medical capabilities. But practically, I have no right to determine the fate of any person who lives "inside" another persons body. Whose rights are superseded? Its a tough question.

  • Wrong.. wrong... wrong! If you fund the clinic you fund the abortion. You cant parse the money to say... this private money goes for abortion and only government money goes to keeping the lights on the receptionist paid.

  • I agree. That's why I say: NO government money to fund anything. Clinics should be privately funded, period.

  • I was not saying that, nor do I believe that. These clinics provide more then just abortions. Why fund one and not the other as long as nobody is breaking any governmentally placed laws.

  • We shouldnt fund anything like this whether the clinic provides abortion or not. This is just another government funded interest that allows them more interference in our lives. Government sponsored family planning... it sounds awful! Family planning should only include the parties involved... the family. Government shouldnt be involved in any social programs.

  • Well there lies the fundamental differences between you and me. I think it sounds needed!

  • I'm not saying its not needed. It IS needed. However, I'd rather fund it myself personally instead of government funneling my money there without my approval. Let me keep my money and let me fund it personally.

  • People are free to fund whatever clinics they like, with their own money. What I object to is the government taking my money and using it to fund things I may disagree with. I'd prefer to keep my money thank you and fund things I agree with myself. Wouldn't you?

  • I understand what your saying. I've heard you're message over and over again. But the things is WE do pay taxes, can't change that! So, like you I like to have MY money go where I thinks it's needed. That's why I vote.

  • Taxpayer money should never fund abortions!

  • Or the clinics who allow them to occur.

  • I agree completely with you on this issue, I give him a big fat -10

For a four day total of -12
