This is perhaps her most soulful song, most vulnerable--vulnerable is definitely good. I feel like her and I would talk for hours. As a musician, I've grown to respect her level of songwriting. And of course, she has the best female voice since.....?

it's crazy but I was woke up by a phone call from my parents to hear the news about my grandfather passing and for some reason this song instantly popped into my mind. And everytime I hear it, it fills my mind with wonderful memories of him.. the field below, rooster's crowing all remind me of him and yet the song seems to be about wanting to escape the big city. and of couse I was awake to feel it ache. nice to know someone else relates this song to a lost loved one.
