@voevodineu Hi, I found this as well but we now convert our powerpoints into the SCORM format and upload it as a SCORM. The powerpoint then runs perfectly (although a few types of flash animation do get a little confused but it's very rare in our experience)
@AtTheHem if they do not have powerpoint they can download the free powerpoint viewer from microsoft (just google "free powerpoint viewer"). Note, there is a PowerPoint 2003 version and PowerPoint 2007 version available.

Unfortunately, the latest versions of Moodle just don't process the file, they promt to download

If my student does not have powerpoint, will they still be able to view the presentation?
