This ought to be a damning indictment of US policy entirely at-odds with the official claim to stand for social justice and representative democracy. Amazing how a relative modest reformer like Zelaya was so thoroughly villianized by elite interests, & the resulting BS uncritically accepted by a gullible public.
One correction: in my speech I mistakenly state that the immutability of Article 239 was only inserted in 2003. Article 239 was amended in 2003, but the immutability clause existed in the original 1982 version. Apologies for the error.
