Well it's all over. All construction is done. Not sure how much safer this road is. Most people can now travel about 65-70MPH through the section that was made wider. I guess they are all making up for lost time. Be safe people!

I was told that the flagger in the above post was killed in a motorcycle accident riding in another mountain range. Sad news.

haha exactly like john said its great if your a rider(motorcycle) makes for great breaks in traffic where we can fly .. i commute from wildomar to san juan every day ... and the construction is that bad.. it ensures i get at least half of the road for a good ride ... if you commute you probally hate me and have seen me at least once haha im the guy with the red mohawk helmet flying by you

haha gio ... june 19th is when paul gets his license back .. so thats when you can see us riding again ... and well actually go the same speed as you since we have to be good .. we can always count on you to go slow .. haha

its actually kinda good if you ride this mountain a lot. they take turns letting cars through in both directions when it goes into one lane. theres huge gaps in the traffic so you can get youre knee down and not worry about oncoming cars.
