I don't mean to be rude, I just would like to clarify something for the viewers who may watch other videos of this technique. The traditional way to crochet the open squares, is only 2 chains between the double crochets. If you use a filet chart with a character such as a kitten or something, the extra chain my stretch out the final result, making your project look as if someone squished the poor kitty from the top down and pulled him out long ways from whiskers to tail.
