I'm korean, I'm only 12, I think I can beat these guys like what, 6-3, 6-3 each? One, step in you don't embarrassingly mishit the ball or totally miss it like the beginning of the video and when the near player totally missed the ball. And second, I like your strokes that you implement, but you've gotta be more consistent.
Besides that, I think they're pretty darn good. :D
no offense, but these guys hit very slow (with the exception of an occasional fast shot) . however, they are very good with their consistency when it comes to long rallies. and their placement is good as well. most of the time they are using a lot of power, not speed, in their ground strokes. if you notice your opponent hitting slow shots, its good to change the pace to take advantage of a point, and possibly set yourself up for a better shot. (just my opinion)
@zeleboy They aren't that good. They're both using very low powered polly strings which gives them great accuracy and spin and makes them look pro in long rallies. A "good" player would smack a winner off any one of these balls.
@dodododa "A "good" player would smack a winner off any one of these balls. Whats your idea of a good player Roger Federer? C'mon, like you know anything about tennis
@Wanginator000 They're hitting short lollypop balls right at each other. Neither of them are able to capitalize when they have their man out of position since they don't have the ability to flatten it out. They both have slow kick serves as their first serves. They're just typical juniors who wait for their opponent to make a mistake. That will take them as far as the regional finals and no further.
@dodododa I guess you know what the advanced tennis is. I totally agree with you on their strokes. The coaches should coach the way what you wrote, but they don't want to. They want their players to win a tournament while they stay with them for 3 years. That's the problem of Korean school tennis. Both players represent their schools and coaches (one is middle, the other is high school). They (coaches and players) have only short term goals, no long term vision at all.
@goodideaqaz Same thing happens all over the world. Only the kids with a dedicated relative or good long term coach can make it as a pro. Serena/Venus Williams' father took them out of junior events when they were 12 because they were learning bad habbits. He made them play aggressive against adults. They didn't win any junior titles, but 5 years later they were winning adult titles.

its hard to judge these guys on their play considering its a tiebreaker and most of the time tiebreakers are just push fests. this is a good example of 2 players grinding it out to see who has more will to win
So.. If yours is better than theirs... Does that mean you're on the pro tour? Doubt it.
These guys are good. Lots of topspin, plenty of deep balls, and they're consistent. But when they miss, they MISS! Haha. Either giant shanks or 3-5 feet wide. And they need to learn to play more aggressive tennis, and learn when to come into the net. I see many occasions where they should come into the net but opt not to.
Alot of your first serves look like good second serves with kick. They dont look like first serves. And your first serves are not placed any where near the lines.
Let's just say if TennisCube is 14 and hits harder than that consistently, he either is taking steroids, works out A LOT, has awesome technique, or all of the above.
