I have detonation films free stuff and fx home stock footage. can you make tutorials?

hey hey sorry have been away... detonation films footage set as overlay on the body... about 2 hours work here. stopped once i saw the progress a final product would of been multiple fire instances over the entire body and the final character would have blue flames instead.

add some particular flames+displacement map fractal noise into the mix and you've got yourself a near-professional effect!

dude! that explosion on 0:21 was fireburst04 from detonation films! i love that website! (I use fireburst04 some of my videos!)

ya detonation films saved me from looking for hours for flames and explosions... i didnt mask off the alley explosion but if i would of it would of looked alot better.

Great video! How do you actually change the subject of the green screen to be filled with flames. Like say I had some footage of fire, how would I apply that to whatever is standing to infront of the green screen?

didnt actually use the green screen to make my body on fire, used a plugin instead on the body.. and overlayed alot of flames... would of done more but this was just a test to see what i could do in 2 hours.

Heyas ya I'm an art director for a web design co. and also an IT/Graphics dude, I saw that movie by Mist by steven king,and It really ticked me off to the point where I bought all the gear to make my own movie... Saw your after effects work and knew that if i work at it ill be able to at least do a special effects movie...You working on anything or just messing with graphics?
