I'm a Katy fan but seeing her here doing acoustic with her voice its just so awesome I wish she had stayed with this image her raspy high pitched voice suits the jazzy style similar to Norah jones's music.... But of course her will be different as she's playful and has energetic vibe. And her pop is not bad but this one just shows her raw talent and voice.

Katy Perry can't always sing like this, because a lot of her songs are difficult for her to perform live because they are a bit out of her vocal range, that's why she usually drops them down during live performances, or tries really hard to hit the high notes, which usually don't come out well. This song is perfect for her actual vocal range. She's a good unique singer if the song is in her range, like this one.

So Kesha being forced to sing out of her vocal range does not mean she has no talent. The best example of this I can give you is Jessie J. Look up "Jessie J Mamma knows best live". Phenomenal singing. Look up her hit, Price Tag live. She does decent.

No. Does that mean she can't sing at all? No. She also writes her own music, and writes music for other artists as well.
