This fact begs the question: is there anything else which exists outside of the natural realm? Specifically, is there a master Architect out there?

There is no tangible connection between the two. The big bang theory is not complete yet it doesn't need to ask the question "what about god" because there is not the slightest indication that the universe was created by a super-natural being. If there was then cosmology would persue this line of thought.

Actually it's a rare occurring where an extreme gust of wind is string enough to push back water. They crossed a sand bar which, guess what, is still there. Granted the sea is a bit smaller now but that sand bar is there. Look it up. I forgot what that weird wind thing was called but it exists. Now, how it happened when Moses showed up...who knows ;D

There is no tangible connection between the two. The big bang theory is not complete yet it doesn't need to ask the question "what about god" because there is not the slightest indication that the universe was created by a super-natural being. If there was then cosmology would persue this line of thought.

smhuq4et, You are only partially correct about some Christian scholars being confused. It isn't paramount either way that Muslims say the Bible is or isn't word of Yahweh. It is important however that Christians know what is His word, and not be misled by false shepherds, Christian or Muslim. Christians need to be taught the ancient Hebrew as close as it can be taught to the original language. There is no "Original" Qur'an of God remaining until judgment. But there is a moon god.

Exodus describes 600,000 men and who knows how many women and children. Not 100 or so. Additionally, Exodus describes a strong wind from the East blowing most of an entire day before the crossing, not some event where the sea suddenly just split open.

if the sea were parted, it was not done by magic, there was a physical explanation, at the time of this event there were cosmic upheavals in the heaven, creating high winds, tremors from gravity forces of nearby spacial objects, and hence tsunamis, which suck all the water away before replanting as a huge wave
