i think K mel won besides the height thing God gives everyone the same advantage of being able to do the same moves. Regardless of your height you have to work hard to earn the skills you got. K mel broke out with more stuff than Ivan from what I saw and did alot more moves, but Ivan did his spins which kill anyday I didn't see K mel do any head spin slash windmillls just hand spin pose.

his problem in a 1:1 vs. k-mel is that the stuff k-mel does looks better, because k-mel is fairly large, and he has a VERY powerful on-stage presence (he is a natural dancer guy, the things he does look very easy and natural)

In the event of who can roast the most are just analogy. In this case it not about roasting some one is about Burning, or smoke some one. YOu don't say you roast some one in the battle event, your not jeff ross.
I think technically Ivan had the more difficult moves back then, i.e. his tumbling and powerspins. You can see it in his trailer for example. However K-mel has a natural easiness in his style and flow. Bboy Machine often reminds me of K-mel these days (because of this "natural easiness" in his moves), so I think for Ivan this matchup was really difficult, especially in a small circle.
Against crazy monkey he was a lot better, when he had more room to move.
Ivan is still my favorite BBoy but K-mel is something is else. K-mel's style is revolutionary. I've never seen half of the moves he was pulling off. Hats off to both bboys. They are two of the best!
I think Ivan held back........in my opinion or they just didn't all his sets this is "real" bboyin to its fullest world wasn't ready for ivan lol and the third guy who came out was flowmaster no way it looked like ken swift, ken swift takes his time and puts more emphasis in his dancing whereas flowmaster is able to be more explosive with energy when he gets down its incredible all of these guys kmel,ivan,flowmaster, and ken swift , and even vengeance (megas)
kamel does all if not most of megas threads. If you've ever seen old megas footage mid late 90's. You'll understand Ivans moves are all Ivans his rocking style is his own, and his transitions are his. Kamel now would smoke Ivan now but back then I still think Ivan took it. Thing about this battle was that it was a cypher battle< and there was no way for ivan do to alot of his moves
As a bboy you have to adapt to changes and the whole dance revolves around the cypher the circle. So no hating on kmel or ivan cos at the end of the day their both bboys who respect the circle. Both are dope but Ivan has a very skillful top rock and style that is difficult to match. Kamel is legit and probably more technical but Ivan is too fresh and clean.

I think technically Ivan had the more difficult moves back then, i.e. his tumbling and powerspins. You can see it in his trailer for example. However K-mel has a natural easiness in his style and flow. Bboy Machine often reminds me of K-mel these days (because of this "natural easiness" in his moves), so I think for Ivan this matchup was really difficult, especially in a small circle.
Against crazy monkey he was a lot better, when he had more room to move.

Ivan is still my favorite BBoy but K-mel is something is else. K-mel's style is revolutionary. I've never seen half of the moves he was pulling off. Hats off to both bboys. They are two of the best!

I think Ivan held back........in my opinion or they just didn't all his sets this is "real" bboyin to its fullest world wasn't ready for ivan lol and the third guy who came out was flowmaster no way it looked like ken swift, ken swift takes his time and puts more emphasis in his dancing whereas flowmaster is able to be more explosive with energy when he gets down its incredible all of these guys kmel,ivan,flowmaster, and ken swift , and even vengeance (megas)

kamel does all if not most of megas threads. If you've ever seen old megas footage mid late 90's. You'll understand Ivans moves are all Ivans his rocking style is his own, and his transitions are his. Kamel now would smoke Ivan now but back then I still think Ivan took it. Thing about this battle was that it was a cypher battle< and there was no way for ivan do to alot of his moves

Both are dope but Ivan has a very skillful top rock and style that is difficult to match. Kamel is legit and probably more technical but Ivan is too fresh and clean.
