Wonderful video, great job. Rome was by far the greatest and most influential civilization to ever grace the planet Earth. To hell with Alaric and all the barbarians that sacked Rome without the least bit of knowledge of what they were doing to the world. The day Rome fell, was the day that the world was plunged into darkness. Ave Roma
The Roman empire had a Greco-Roman culture and the two nations of Greeks and Romans had became indistinguishable in some point. But yes of course the two nations had many differences and rivalries too.
Rome was Judah; Judah is Germany-All of the lineage of the Lion tribe of Judah; well Zarah; to be Correct who was the line of the Scarlet Thread from the womb of Tamar; Phares-is the Faeroes Islands; northern Scandanavian people's! 2 Seedline Christian Identity and Proud!
@tz88ss32vb Don't you corrupt the name of the capital city of my ancestors with your disgusting hebrew names. Rome was Rome, if you want to be a hebrew so be it but stop giving hebrew names to the greatest city mankind has ever seen.
Well done conor845 another inspiring video. I often wish I had a time machine so I could go back to those times. The World was less crowded, less polluted, less built on, we still lived for honour, patriotism and glory.... Sure there was poverty and disease but I would still choose to go back.
A very fine video, but perhaps a bit unfair to Alaric and the Visigoths, whose plunder of Rome was a fairly orderly affair. They left enough wealth behind to lure the Vandals to sack it again. And as Gibbon pointed out, the Romans themselves were more to blame for the destruction and decay of the fine ancient buildings than the barbarians.
Well the fall of Rome was becuase of their own corruption and yes the Germanic tribes conquered Rome, but on the other hand Rome would have fallen much earlier if it wasent for the Germanic tribes. Because Rome was since a long time back depending on Germanic tribes warriors.
So the conclusion must be that Rome fell mostly of it own corruption.
@CelticAngloPress I dont really get your reply. And the Germanic tribes was not Germans they were Germanic. Germans was only one tribe out of many Germanic tribes............
@BirkaViking Germans werent even a tribe. Germans relates to the correct people that indeed got their name for designiation that Romans did to all those tribes far to the Rhine Germanic. But for example in Spanish and Portuguese(at least) Allemani was the word that brough Alemão that basicaly means German not all Germans descend from Allemani tough nor there is directly relation betwen the two.It was just one of the Germanic tribes that in somepoint reach Iberia and name stuck.
It was many Germanic tribes that later become Germans :)
Well it was infact 2 diffrent Germanic tribes that reached Iberia and that was the Goths and also the Vandals. The Arabs named Iberia Al-Andalus that means the lands of the Vandals.
@BirkaViking Actualy they were more I just name one. They were also the Suebi my hometown is where the Last suebi king died. Allemani tough never permantly setteled here like the Vandals.
@ImperialGuard9001 Yes the Suebi tribe was there also but wasent that only for a a very short time? Iam actually little unsure about how log time they were in Iberia.
@BirkaViking Well they settled here permantly and were eventualy conquered by Visigoths they were the first Germanic Kingdmon of Europe to be estabalished even before the Colapse of the Roman Empire. Is pitty tough we dont know more about it this "Dark Age" Period lacks in sources. Is real a pitty. Most of what we know from them comes from Romans that is Hispanic-Romans.But for what we can tell the infrastruture of Romans was intact and Suebic adopt a Roman model of goverment.

Rome is indeed spectacular, with many relics of its great past. I went back last year, and found the Pantheon particularly impressive.

@BirkaViking
Vae Victus is a Celtic term actually.
And yes at the end everyone pretty much ganged up against them, not just the Germans whom where ultimate late to the party.
However the Romans where somwhat noble, should of stayed a Republic, would of lasted longer most likely.
