  • Beautiful as always.

  • GO TO MY CHANNEL TO SEE HOW TO PLAY THIS VIDEO OR ANY VIDEO IN THE CORRECT ASPECT RATIO - VIKTORIA'S LINES AND ARTISTRY IS TOO PERFECT TO BE SEEN BY YOU-TUBE'S LAME VIDEO PLAYER WHICH CANNOT PLAY A HIGH DEFINITION VIDEO CORRECTLY - CLICK ON MY NIC-NAME AND READ HOW TO DO IT RIGHT.

  • tt is the nicest layout series i've seen.. even better than yang bo.. not to mention that arabian is just crazy.. she is so light on all of her landings..!

  • Look at Vicki go!

  • Beautiful; although I have seen her do this routine even better than here; she seemed a little bit tentative here, usually her leaps and jumps hit completely 180 degree(or more) split, she had a little less amplitude and extension here. Her double tuck dismount is sky high with knees tight together, although I prefer her Patterson dismount, and her standing Arabian salto is just textbook:)

  • Is it just her age that keeps her from competing in the Olympics?

  • @MargaretLeighh from the 2010 worlds yes but now its 2011 and she can compete in 2011 worlds and 2012 Olympics and other senior competitions.

  • overrated.

  • @Ccgirl4 Which part is overrated? Her difficult skills? The incredible height she gets? Her fabulous form? Her perfect lines? This girl has the highest starting scores of any gymnast in the world--she has no weak event. Currently, she hasn't lost a single competition she's been in. So again, how can you substantiate that she's overrated?

  • Sooooo Nastia Liukin like on that series of the flick layout layout. She needs more 180 degree splittt.

  • @willsbob123 /watch?v=o4Acr-NnQvo&feature=feedlik, you won't ever doubt her leaps again. Pause on her switch leap.

  • @prncesskarleigh i understand this, and that's why i'm really looking forward to watching the olympics in london! IT WOULD BE EXCITING!!!!

  • Amazing. Komova and Jordyn Wieber are the the next Nastia and Shawn Johnson, respectively.

  • She just won all-around gold as well as gold on vault and bars in the Youth Olympics :)

  • let's hope this girl wins AA for olympics 2012!

  • @secondaryone I think a little girl named Jordyn Wieber might have something to say about that.

  • @prncesskarleigh Yes, she will. She'll say "Oh my God!" =D

  • This girl is going to take the 2012 AA gold. i can feel it.

  • aspect ratio...

  • wow wonderful!!! did she arrive at first place?? sorry for the bad english.. i'm Italian

  • wow beautiful...she reminds me so much of Nastia Liukin, its those lovely lines thats et her apart from the others. AMAZING!

  • Wow !! 14.950 with a weak spin A instead of C !! Amazing, she is remembering me the great soviet gymnastics !! Awesome!! Даваи Вика !!

  • Well she probably wouldn't count the spin then. She's got the 3 dance satisfied with the split full, switch split, and sheep jump.

  • @auswriteratheart Back in 09 she started connecting her spin to another A level spin. Then in 2010 she started connecting it to her front layout + sheep.

  • Well, she has got sth from her mom!

  • i love that arabian. her previous convination of layout arabian was very very inconsitense.

but i liked the double arabian dismount

  • wutz her difficulty?

  • Here I believe it would be 6.0, but just by adding in her double arabian dismount the difficulty would be raised by .3.

  • It's raised by .4, because she gets extra CV as well.

  • That's true. In fact, B+B+E or more gets .2 in CV. So it would be raised by .5. But I was saying that just by adding the dismount alone, without even looking at CV, her DV is raised by .3.

  • Yeah, but B+B+D gets .1, so it's raised by .4. Sorry I misunderstood what you were saying :)

  • shes awesome! do u know wut her score wuz?

  • 14.950

  • anyone know how tall she is?

  • @ladodgerschick She was 4'8" but now she's 5'0".

  • What a lovely arabian!

  • Darkangel127 - Gymnasts do still have to include a turn to get their 0.5 composition requirement!!!

  • Yes, but unless it's one of the 8 most difficult skills, it doesn't count towards the D score, unlike the previous CoP (the spin would count even if it was an A).

  • The 5 Composition Requirements (CR) form part of the D score. The spin is a CR so therefore gymnasts must perform it or lose out on a valuable 0.5. However they could do a simple full spin to satisfy this requirement and build their difficulty elswhere in the routine. Regardless - beautiful gymnast!!

  • I meant it doesn't necessarily make part of the top 8 (a acro, 3 dance) skills a gymnast must perform, OTHER than the 2.5 in CR. I get what you mean, I'm not sure you get what I want to say (although I suspect we're saying the same thing).

The routine is gorgeous, with wonderful flow and confidence. Vika's showing great extension and polish. Gosh, these Russian juniors are looking great. And there's so many of them! Komova, the Mustafinas, Nabieva, Grishina, Malikova, Goryunova...

  • she is so beautiful on this event... she just floats.

  • I think she has learnt that Arabian with Lobazniouk.

  • I see another Nastia in the making ;) She's one to bring Russia back on ground.

  • @veranationgirl She's better than Nastia.

  • the flip - layout - layout must be the most beautifully executed series I have seen in a long, long time. She has wonderful promise x

  • Beautiful! If only she could actually complete a leg-up full turn and a dismount other than a tuck double back. Glad she's a junior with that kind of talent & room to improve!

  • normally she does a double arabian dismount, and the full turn don't get counted anymore in the 8 elements....

  • Is it true, the spin doesn't count towards the D score anymore? Then why is everyone still doing it when they can hardly make it all the way round without wobbling/falling?

Back to Vika, what a wonderful, polished routine! If she turns out to be another Russian junior who fails to live up to her potential as a senior, I'm gonna get seriously pissed!

  • a lot of gymnast still use it as 1 of their 8elements. because 3 of those elements have to be leaps etc. and 5 can be acrobatic...

  • Thx for the update! I guess it's like the floor then: 5 acro+3 dance=8 skills in total. And considering there aren't many C and D dance skills, they tend to include the 360° turn anyway.

  • Wonderful! She have the best arabian Ever!

    Thanks for posting!

  • @gymfrombrazil lobaznyuk taught her how to do it!!!! :P

  • @soberanis100 That was a joke right? Ekat's is a bit better, but I would actually believe that...

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 Yeah, just kidding, Lobaznyuk lives happily in Canada right now. :)

She didn't train Komova at any period of her life.

  • @soberanis100 Yeah, I was like "hasn't she been with Yelfimov and Bulgakova this whole time?". But Lobaznyuk and Komova definately have the best Arabians I've ever seen.

  • awesome! thanks soooo much for posting! Do you have any other vids from this meet? please do post!
