  • @Dodgemeister83 best off trying to buy the dvd off ebay or something

  • So underrated. Those lads are without a doubt in my mind, one of the best British bands in the last 20 years, easily. OCS!

  • The only Thing I can do is chillin' when I'm listening to this song

  • I love this band! Thanks for sharing!

  • these tunes stand the test of time, some of the best of british and very underrated for such a great band and sound

  • savage performance!! deffo a classic :)

  • found these by accident on a heavy stereo youtube playlist and know i love em

  • Check out live versions of Get Away (though watch it will probably bring out Get Blown Away on any search as well).

  • Maybe I just don't know enough but does any modern guitarist come up to Cradock?

  • @Huckleberrygrove john frusciante

  • @o0conor0o I should have said 'modern British...' As I'm not a guitarist I find it hard to properly compare such differing styles. Squire is an easier comparison for me.

  • @Huckleberrygrove

John Squire, Jack White, Matt Bellamy, Josh Homme...

  • @PegGonzalez Squire isn't really doing much these days, is he? But his stuff on 2nd Coming and with the Seahorses was amazing. I wouldn't have thought White as good, but it is a very different style. Bellamy I also wouldn't have put up to this standard--though again I like some of it. Homme I would consider the best of that list. But, I am no guitarist... Weller, maybe?

  • @Huckleberrygrove

I'd say what else makes a guitarist great is distinction. White, Bellamy, Homme and Squire(Still in Craddocks era I meant)have distinction.

Weller is good and has alot of soul but I wouldn't put him in the same league as Craddock.

  • @PegGonzalez Yeah, you probably have a point. Concerning Weller, I was forgeting that most of the best guitar on his albums is Cradock!

My thoughts on this are most likely influenced by personal taste, as well--not playing makes it particularly hard to judge by an objective standard.

  • @Huckleberrygrove i prefer Kenwyn House from Reef. I think he writes a better riff than Craddock. i always feel that Craddock is trying to overdo things a bit, he's a bit too showy for my tastes. Kenwyn has a lot more groove and funk in his licks and his songs have better structure. For sure though, Craddock is a really good player. Works hard at his playing.

In a nutshell, when i hear Craddock i think "he's a good guitarist". When I hear Kenwyn i think "fuck yeah dude rocks!".

  • i'm from brazil, one day about 11/12 years ago i saw this video in tv here, just change my life!!

  • Was at this gig, it was amazing. My mate got filmed at end after about 3-4 takes due to him swearing, he managed to shout "it was excellent" rather than it was f' in excellent. Something like that, there is a full gig of this

  • noel gallagher recons beatles were biggest influence ,i recon he he is a ocean colour scene wannabe front man

  • Fowler carries the band, when Craddock is smashed.

  • Pure magic !!!

    =)

  • Who are the seven knobs that dislike this.

For fuck sake your ears must be painted on!!

  • Worst live version i have ever heard.

  • dont think so pal, thing is though... i have shagged your mum the fat whore and ill be honest....it wasn't great, the words dead whale spring to mind.

  • Chave? Chav maybe? Oasis are far from chav, they can't help who takes an intrest in thier music now can they? But your right steve Craddock is a better guitarist than Noel G. Cool as fuck...

  • Agreed, Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene etc is Mod not chav. Scooters > Mopeds!

  • Is that a Frenchman who wears a hoodie and stabs people?

Oasis are far from Chavs, they are a good band just like OCS.

  • I can not believe it. Only 90 thousand people have seen this video.

  • Ooooow yeah!

  • oops meant to post as a reply to something... somewhere... erm... did I mention I bought 'Sway' on 45rpm early 90s after being sold it from Brian who worked in a record store Brum. The days when indie sevens filled every record store's racks. And days before R&B meant some shite act needing some Cher style voice enhancment. Also sold a food blender to guitarist in Rackhams in 2001. I'll get me bloody coconut you monkeyoids.

  • rip phil lynott the legand
