There is no way to reach 220 or even 215 km/h

I have Swift Sport and have tested it more than 10times for top speed ( alone, and with 3 persons), I hit 6985 rpm , rev limiter and 210 km/h, Up to 200 easy, than up to 210 fight for each km., mine is stock.

I agree that with 6 gear will be much better on highways and than forsure will hit 230 km/h

I have a swift sport too, I know there are a difference, between the very first SSS (like mine) I can't reach 215 or 220, and what I would call phase II, the rev limiter is at 7400 rpm instead of 6950..

Anyway I like the short gear, very fun car, and looks great, bravo Suzuki ! ^^

instantly my arm reaction went into overdrive where i quickly grabbed the wheel and pushed it left then right...normally a move like this in any lesser car without ESP would have DEFINATELY caused my car to oversteer and plough into the kerb. but in this case i FELT the ESP kick in and control my car to keep its line

I see there's a third gear changed before 100kph/62mph. Hence the seemingly slow 0-62mph time of the Suzuki Swift Sport. I always hated how some over manufacturers would create a falsely high second gear to get a decent 0-62 time. Glad to see Suzuki isn't going for all that crap.

an 1993 suzuki swift is WAY WAY WAY faster than this and its 1.3 litre. I red line my gf's car in 2nd gear at 110km!! this new suzuki car is a peace of shit

new swift sport is as fast as mk3 GTI. I tested it many times. mk1 & mk2 GTI could be a bit faster because of the smaller weight. And red line at 110km/h means nothing couse my Peugeot 206 1.4 hits the red line on second gear around 100km/h and it was much slower...

i have a 95 suzuki swift...5 speed...it has the 1.3 litre ...when i first got it ...it crawled..than i put a turbo muffler and a k&n on and now it flies...lotta fun and still get kick ass gas mileage...the car is rated at 70 hp but i'm sure its quite a bit higher now

No I'm not going to try, the rev limiter isn't there for nothing, mine stops @ about 220 and then the rev limiter kicks in, it's not heatlhy to keep going on when the rev limiter is working because you can seriously f*ck up your ECU and electronics...

Maybe when I go down a high hill I can reach 230 but I'm not trying tho... :D
