  • exelente musica!!!

  • mac darrah the alpha male of the group :D

  • Oh, how I wish I knew how to dance to this kind of music. It simply demands it. I've always wanted to learn, but I haven't ever had the opportunity.

Although I am only a little Irish(only 1/16), all the Irish in me is officially awoken -- I can't get enough of this!! This is one of my favorite kinds of music.

  • good ceili bands are a bit hard to come by over seas. Cant help but want to get up and dance around my room!

  • I think he just meant that it's hard to not dance to a good set... which as a dancer I understand... and it's a compliment to the music to want to dance to it! :)

  • I could write lyrics for that

is it legal to sing there?

  • thank you

  • the guy at 3:18-3:20 .the one that's in the back with the accordion. he looks hella stoked to be playin. great song. well done

  • great

  • The only time the Irish smile is when they are knocking the English

  • put a condenser on this crap....

and by crap I mean a good thing!!! ha

  • w o w o.O

  • can someone make them clean there instruments!!!!!

  • I don't understand how people can sit still during this, I'd probably be doing the highland fling between seats throwing smiles all four corners if I were there!

  • Remember, Bible takes precedence over church. Many rules are in there, that the church never told you about.

  • I like the music,, however not a single smile from the artists.

  • @5079al It's normal in Irish music for the musicians to be rather somber. Their postures are often quite stiff as well.

  • @5079al The Irish custom is to concentrate on the music not the ego, the music is more important than the person. Good singers draw attention with their voices not their antics.

  • @buaileamscith That goes for all good music. Or any good musician. Its customary in music, not just an irish custom. Those of who play. Understand that. And in truth, if you wanna see a shining example of it from Ireland. Go get some Rory Gallagher. What a legend. What a humble, brilliant pure craic, guitar master he was. And he played blues rock. And was, and still holds title of best guitarist ever. Shame he is not in the RnR hall of fame. Or better known threw out the world.

  • its in mono :(

  • A lot of Black Irish in this band . descendants from Spanish Armada ship wrecks 1588. Still they play great music, they need to smile and show a bit of spirit .

  • dont be retarded.

    thats an old wives tale.

the "black irish" have been apart of ireland's culture long before 1588

    their actual origin is unknown.

and who said everybody in this band is irish in origin?

  • believe me they are irish.......and how can u even tell if there black irish??

  • @boxplayer2 Black Irish means Irish with black hairs, same as Black Dutch means Pennsylvania Deutsch with black hairs, like my daddy.

  • @GalacticCannibal The "Black Irish" are most likely the original Celtic (or perhaps pre-celtic) settlers who were predominantly dark haired. The Romans wrote of the Welsh as looking like iberians. In any case, the armada left only just a few survivors on the shores of Irleand and those few left too insignificant a footprint to be the progenitors.

  • @LordTharrion Very true. Remember that it was the Viking influence that gave the more well known red haired people. If I remember correctly they had traced the origonal Irish as settlers as possibly of Iberian decent. This is also alluded to in the Irish invasion myths as well. This is what makes history so fun :D

  • @axlleaf Iberean means "Hebrew". "Hibernian" means "Hebrew". Bible says King David had red hair. Yes the red haired Scandinavians were more often vikins, than were the blonds, I believe. This witch Madeleine Murray says there were short dark folks, who hid in barrows and swamps, known as Pict-sidhe (pixies) Picts of the barrows. They captured and raised white children. I reckon by that they eventually became white, just like southeastern American Indians.

  • Sean a mac Nice playing Go Hiontach ar fad .. Filicdadas Mach Weiter so . slan a baile ----pat

  • They should really clean up their violins o_O

  • @Mondkatze90

    Nennt man wohl "Patina" ;-)

  • the dude on the drums is having a ball of a time lol. watch his mounth lol lol

  • not a smiling bunch, are they?

  • Fantastic few reels there, no time for smiling when you are in a lively session such as this......let the listeners do the smiling

  • The music is fantastic but their faces are all very depressing... Why don't they smile? xD I listen to the music without watching the video

  • @BlackFolkAndPiano, ther fuckin concentrating u div.

  • @muskykieranbeast ya but i laugh while playing! anyway i was joking

  • @BlackFolkAndPiano It's called concentration. My daughter tells me I make awful faces when playing. But I am enjoying myself. Don't worry about the faces. They are all enjoying themselves. Do you ever see great classial musicians smiling? They are all smiling - all the way to the bank!

  • @BlackFolkAndPiano agreed!!! ha the 2 accordion players are generally in a good mood though :D

  • Very enjoyable.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Mean as irish rock on. I love this type of music

  • It would be hard to put into words how much I appreciate this music, and how much I love your merry spirit.

Peter was never in rome, and it is doubtful that Padraig ever worshipped the high priest of babylon in rome either.

  • Great energy in the music. Ladies dont look so sombre.

  • Maybe the air in their town is polluted. The chemicaux in the air would affect their mood.

    Peter was never in rome.

  • I'm not big on the Ceili bands, but love this! Cruiniu (mayeb something like that?) is pretty good too

  • 2nd tune is The Killavil Reel.

    Sean.
