  • @LotOfTutorials Hold command to select multiple layers.

  • Each time I use my rectangular marquee tool and select an area a window will pop up saying "no pixels are 50% selected, edges will not be visible" what am I doing wrong?

  • @James29440 Never heard that.. make sure you're on the right layer, and it doesn't have any masks that you can't select...

  • HOW DO U ZOOM IN ? CAN U DO IT ON WINDOWS ?

  • @kamilstachor Zoom in Photoshop or the OS? Photoshop in Windows can zoom, of course. To zoom in Windows Photoshop forgotten about, search for magnifier and use that application as part of Windows to zoom in on stuff.

  • Wow, I don't know how to use Photoshop AT ALL. I never used it.....

  • Neat, I use PS CS4 extended as well...awesome program. And for those who can't get photoshop legally, I recommend downloading gimp, which is a free graphic-editing program that has many photoshop-like capabilities.

For making reflections, I recommend using the gradient of black to white on the layer mask.

  • lol the almighty apple

  • Good tutorial. I prefer to create a clipping mask on the duplicated layer onto an empty layer below, and then add a black-to-transparent gradient on the empty layer. Then you cut off all parts of the gradient you don't need, and change the opacity to whatever you want on the gradient. That way, you only have to make the gradient 1 time, rather than 5-10 times, and change how strong it is.
