@Brenden85cc i know what you mean. most bands i have been in i play rythem or second guitar so i play the simple melodic parts that are mainly chords and even when i was just learning to play people said i was one of the best players in the band. and they said our lead guitarist which had played for years sucked. even my original songs are simple and melodic but that's because i like to play with a tune you will remember and can feel, not be technical and fast. simple riffs hold much feeling.
