@Redsea0707 The power steering pump is a hydraulic pump and this is the sound they make when there is air in the fluid. Sometimes called cavitation.

have the same issue that started this winter on my 2004.....$1-4 is a lot cheaper than the pump for sure. Good clear process and video. Thanks!

I have the same problem with my sedan Chevy, Caprice 2006... When its cold I hear the stearing wheel and it goes away when its hot... do you think this would work?

@aah040404 I dont know if your having the exact same problem, but you can start by checking the fluid for air bubles while engine is running also make sure the level is good. check the belt and tension if you have not already. Let me know what you find>
