she is very talented I can tell, she just is trying to make her voice higher than it can comfortably go. If she would just sing from her gut (instead of falsetto) and she would learn how to be comfortable in the mid-range octaves that her voice falls into then she her talent would come out. I am very sad that she is singing like this because this is one of the things that ruins a great voice like her's.

she is very talented I can tell, she just is trying to make her voice higher than it can comfortably go. If she would just sing from her gut (instead of falsetto) and she would learn how to be comfortable in the mid-range octaves that her voice falls into then she her talent would come out. I am very sad that she is singing like this because this is one of the things that ruins a great voice like her's.

horribly cheorographed. it's a ballad, they don't need to dancing. Ashanti should have covered up more, too. "rain on me" isn't the kinda song u sing in some skimpy outfit. it's an elegant song, so she have had a conservative dress on and just sang the song straight.

This is an OLD performance and Ashanti sounds much better than this now. Check her out singing "Rain On Me" and "The Way That I Love You" at the Hot 97 Concert. She did a good job. I'm not saying Ashanti is the best singer cause she's not but she's nowhere near the worst. She's getting better,IMO!
