You guys do know that a game series put out by a certain developer can be picked up by another developer. The 'Knight of the Old Republic' franchise went from Bioware to Obsidian and back to Bioware in a span of 3-4 years. The gaming industry is about money, and if some random developer wants to pick of the 'Age of Empire' franchise, even though Ensemble is dead, ensemble could still sell the franchise. Quit thinking in the box.
